One thing I love is that whenever Simon the Zealot is on screen, they usually play the musical theme from the beginning montage, it's such a nice detail to add!
The first time I saw this episode i was also so worried Jesse was going to get hurt getting in the middle of the assassination attempt! 2x3 has the amazing 15 minute one-er, but this ep was when I think the show put on it's big boy pants in terms of cinematography 😊
hey y'all, I had the same thoughts about the pool and the man not getting closer lol but as for him waiting in the water, they had to be the first to get in when the water stirred. I love the way they used this to introduce simon the zelot into the group,
I am up to date with the entire series and have watched all the episodes. However, every Sunday I still come on and watch with you guys. I really look forward to these videos and really enjoy them. Keep it up!❤❤❤
Once again, LOVED you guys reaction! I was the same way during the healing and Simon the Zealot's heart/zeal change. I was crying at how beautiful the scene was and that CHRIST'S timing was perfect. I totally agree with you Philip, there is action on our parts for healing. That action is described by the BIBLE as "faith" lol. Getting the paralyzed man to admit that he wanted healing was his faith in CHRIST activated & that he knew CHRIST could do it (whether he fully understood it at the moment or not). I also loved that you saw spiritually how CHRIST indirectly called for and changed Simon Z's heart in knowing that CHRIST had arrived. Looking forward to watching the rest of your reactions of this Series. It only gets BETTER, I promise! Be Blessed my brother and sister in CHRIST!!! :)
I cant resist....😂....the scene where the leader commissions Simon to off the Roman. "Enter.........What is your name?" "Simon, son of Zebulan" "Pleased to meet you......I am Rasputin."
I don't know if anyone has answered this for you yet, but I've heard you ask it on two different videos. Shabbat happens every week. During these times, they counted days from sunset to sunset. So, Shabbat starts at sunset on Friday and lasts until sunset on Saturday.
This episode is the one that really got to me . I've been severely debilitated and chronically ill for over 18 years now and I was constantly thinking "I can't do this because so-and-so won't help me!" And "if only this person would do this thing my life would be so much better!" Boohoo poor me. So when Jesus tells Jesse he didn't ask him who wasn't helping him or why he couldn't do this or that and says "you only need me" it was like God smacked me upside the head! I hadn't realized what I was doing. In reality God has blessed me so much in my life even if he chooses not to heal me. I cried from the shame and repented of thinking that way zoot quick! It turns out that your life can be a testimony when people see how sick you are and wonder where your joy is coming from! God is good! 🙌 I love my Jesus! 😊
Me: If this man doesn’t breakdance in the streets by the end of the episode, I’m kicking Dallas Jenkins’ butt. Jesse: *dances in the streets* Me: All is forgiven 🥹❤️🩹✝️

Never noticed this! But it's such a beautiful touch by the team.
Opening montage is beautiful and heart wrenching. Love the subtle yet powerful music. A favorite of many episodes!
Loved that they did it without words and just music and visuals.
FINALLY someone is reacting to this show! I follow a lot of reaction channels and y'all are the first I've seen covering this show, so THANK YOU!!

Haha fair.
