Just wanted to tell you guys a funny story from yesterday: It was my turn for my voice buling lesson (which we only get once a term in my choir) in choir. While warming up, the vocal coach brings me into a very very high register which I normally never use. After stopping at Eb 6 he asks me if I take singing lessons and I truthfully answer "no". He wouldnt beleave me! I guess I took away some technique from your Videos. Thank you miss Tara for indirectly teaching me!
Eb3 isnt a very high register? Its very low for a female tho! Lmao yeah tara has probably inderectedly taught all of her viewers without knowing it

There're lots of behind stories that no one knows except her! I think the x-factor had hurt her a lot emotionally, but now I feel better because she seems to overcome it... We, Tarabytes, know truly who you are and that you're such a warm-hearted, nice person😁 (Maybe Tara is more than we are expecting 😍😍)

Yesterday, I did an open call audition for The Voice. I did not make the cut, but I'm not giving up on singing either. I'm starting to become more financially stable since I started a new job in August, so hopefully soon, I can afford lessons from you, Tara!

Tara, thank you for sharing this. I have the biggest respect for people who can build a healthy life and help others after being bullied. I'm sorry that you were treated so poorly because nobody deserves that. I'm genuinely so glad that you put the knife away and didn't hurt yourself because you matter and you're making such a positive impact in people's lives through music. Years ago I was treated poorly, became suicidal and I acted on it (but lived and went on to thrive after having therapy). Your videos enrich my life and make me want to take up singing again.
Please continue to be your lovely, authentic self. It will always attract like-minded, genuine people into your life.

She is the singer. Its more a reaction. It could be called self promotion but that is ok because it gives other singers perspective and how the song developed in their mind. In this reaction the solitary lesson to be careful how you handle involvement in an edited talent show to which may have different motives than just the song. That is where the voice tends to be more fair to artists and Simon strayed from the more wholesome Uk Formula. It says something about usa tv who may have more than simon driven the approach. Mental health fell down on agt.. sure look what happened to the Voice Usa the beautiful singer Christina Grimmie..no fault to the voice..there are people out there with dangerous mental health issues be it by the keyboard or in physical audience and something artists need just be aware of without it affecting them. That's different from those who hurt themselves altogether. A Great educational video. Well done tara!

I'm not sure this is the correct forum for this but I am a new fan and I just wanted to let you know how much I respect you as a vocalist, entertainer, teacher, and person. Watching your reaction videos, it's so clear that you are someone who makes an effort to find beauty in everything she sees (and hears), and then wants to share the joy she gets from that beauty with everyone else. That is a mark of a truly good person.
I also wanted to point out how generous you are with your knowledge and training. Obviously you make money from coaching but many people don't realize that you don't actually have to share the knowledge that you have, even for a price. I admire you for this generosity of spirit. You are everything a teacher should be.
At the end of some of your videos you encourage us to go out and spread kindness, and that is what I wanted to do. It's just one voice, but I hope it helps to drown out the unjustified trolls who don't have the ability or desire to appreciate you for who you are. I see you.

I am so glad you didn’t take your life. You are an inspiration to me. You mentioned in another video about a bad marriage and that struck me. I recently came out of an abusive marriage and have a 4 year old. Music is my soul and I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. As another singer/songwriter whose had few chances and struggled through life, thank you! I am also so grateful for you sharing your faith. Thank you.

Irs not easy- this world and all the wrongs that occur, not to just ourselves but others. Since being sent back ( :( ) i feel a similar purpose to save others from these terrible experiences. I actually watch this video about two years ago. I never thought you’d actually react to it.
I empathize with your struggles - particularly about violence and other people deciding who to depict you as.
Way back in the day when Myspace was big, I had a large following, not for any craft or skill I had honed but just interest in my person.
People then took snippets of what I had written or said and re-contextualized them, made fake accounts pretending to be me etc and I received so many death threats.
I remember one night when I was asked outright by a stranger in public 'Hey, are you so and so?' and my immediate reaction was to run because of how things escalated.
Narcissistic rant over, but I really appreciate how real you are, the content you put out there and of course, your musical prowess and insight.
