Chilln pronouncing German words like they're Spanish or Italian is great
Challenge idea: randomly generate 25 Pokémon to make a bingo sheet and the first 5 in a row that you get is your team plus one “free space” catch of your choice after your 5 are locked in

Venomoth suffered greatly from how bad Bugs were in the first gens, but nowadays it's pretty decent. One Quiver Dance and it can sweep anything except Steel-types with the right moveset

Look, I'm on that same train too, but this one isn't a scam. When they've done these language challenges before, they've occasionally run up against Pokémon that have the same names in the foreign language as in English. The only way to make it fun is to try to say it in a weird accent lol.
That being said, why he didn't do a German accent instead of Italian or whatever the hell he did is beyond me.

Challenge Idea: Mirrormatch
You wanna find out who is really the best trainer? Try this:
You both agree on a time to catch 3 over world encounters. Infinite skips. After locking in 3 pokemon, you copy the exact 3 pokemon of the other trainer (same moves and ability). This makes it way more psychological. Choose your pokemon wisely ❤️
This relies too much on what you start with tbh
@@ezramitchell4429 yeah, that's another component of the psychological aspect. It might even result in both players starting with the same pokemon, which makes the whole battle a massive mindgame. I think it would be really interesting to see how both quick and chilln try to outsmart each other

Welcome To Thunderdome! Catch your random pokemon with random moves, but, all pokemon have the ability Arena Trap.
That's right, no swapping during the fight.

Yes there is workarounds for it, but ghosts hardly fit the 'spirit' of the challenge
@@avenguard9503 you could also just say that you just don't switch... So yeah... there are workarounds for everything. That way Pokémon could stay with their random abilities instead of having none because you dont switch anywa
@boszer true, lots of ways to do it, you could use the honor system with random abilities, could ban ghost types, could use the idea I suggested. Amounts to the same, my idea was for simplicity sake

Challenge ideas:
1. You can only catch a single type of all the types in the game.
If the pokemon is dual type you lose both types.
2. One pokemon from every Gen
3. One random pokemon from each route
If the letters E I are in that order in a word, then in german you pronounce it almost always like the letter I in english 🤗

Has anyone ever heard a word used for what seems like the first time and hear it used again by someone else soon after in a different setting?
I recently heard someone describe something crow like as corvus. Then, a day or two later, different group of people, different reasoning, someone asked what corvus means, and the answer given was either the genus or species for crows or ravens. Now, a completely different reason for my brain to recall these only 2 ever, but still within the past week uses of the word corvus.

CHALLENGE IDEA:
You and Quick each catch 10 random encounters with completely random move sets (NOT ACCORDING TO TYPE) and abilities. When you are done catching all 10 (Not evolved up-or evolved {your choice}) you may choose the 6 best Pokémon BUT, you can switch around the moves and abilities to your liking. EXAMPLE: you have a charizard with ability cloud nine, moves: sleep talk, quash, ice shard, and peck. You also have a pichu with ability delta stream, moves: Flamethrower, Earth Power, milk drink, surf.
You can completely swap the abilities and moves. Another catch, you cannot use any duplicate moves or abilities.

I got a great challenge. You guys both have three random starters, choice lock, but rock paper scissors decides who gets to choose. So, if chillin wins and picks middle quick must take middle also.
Adding a reward for the no skip challenge would be interesting as you would have to weigh it against the risk. Like use of life orb, toxic orb -esp on guts. It just adds a new element.
Wait, Zweilous german name is Duodino even though Zwei (=two) is literally german?
The name had to be changed because of the second part of the name.

Day 4 asking. Paradox Pokemon vs original. Both team use the same 6 Pokémon’s. Next challenge both players pick their team. Either all 6 paradox or 6 originals.
They won’t do that. Takes out the catching/picking part of the video, which is damn near the best
Challenge: you need to catch 4 regional forms/fakes and 2 paradox pokemon, then you fight

Challenge idea:
Rare Candy Challenge
YOU CANNOT LOOK AT MOVES OR ABILITY UNTIL THE END
Random moveset according to type and random ability
You get two Rare Candy per pokemon.
You get two skips in total
You have to evolve at least once, then you can choose that pokemon, or you can evolve again.
If you evolve again, you are stuck with that pokemon.
Unless you skip, and then you have to go back to the previous pokemon and keep that one.
You should do one like this but with wheel of languages including English. And spin before the 3 and. Do that language for the set. Also you should do something for using no skips(like a free evolution)
Garganacl is one of the best rock types out rn, such a clutch pickup

For example (These are from Korean, it's the only other language I know).

고라파덕 = Head Hurt Duck (Psyduck)
찌리리공 = BZZZZZZZZZZT Ball (Voltorb)

Rookidee is absolutely based on a crow/raven. The prefix "Corvi-" stems from the Latin "corvus" (pertaining to the genus that includes crows and ravens) and a "rook" is a bird of the same genus (Corvus frugilegus).
I had my German exam today. Hopefully my pronunciation was at least a bit better than yours…
I love these kind of challenges! Maybe next time, you could listen to google translate or so how to actually pronounce it and try to copy it... that would make it harder if Pokemon do have similar names but the pronunciation would be different.
Although I must add that as a German, you trying to pronounce them is pretty funny xD
You guys should do an imposter challenge. Randomize movesets but give every pokemon imposter. That way you’re forced to use the opponents pokemon. Not sure if it’ll actually work though

Tell me why I had a dream where it was chilln, quickgg, and me all going to do an and then we fight video. Quickgg found a lvl 18 glastrier that only had tailwhip and tackle or something and I told him to go the the isle of armor so he can get encounters that were actually leveled up but he said “nah I’ll jst deal with it” and level it up to lvl 58 jst to get the moves he wanted and swept us with it 😭
Scarlet and Violet challenge idea: u both catch the first randomized pokemon you see, then the next pokemon you catch bust be based on the Tera type of the pokemon you caught previously. House rules on anything else

Videoidea: Do the exact same thing with german or another language but u choose the Pokemon for each other! So Chilln gives 3 names, Quick chooses which one Chilln takes and u will see in the battle which Pokemon it was :D

At this point I am not sure if chilln really doesn't get how mummy works or if it is just a bit 😅

5:33 I watch a lot of "then we battle" pokemon videos, but I have never seen two of the same pokemon (different variations) to be on screen at the same time. Sometimes there's 2 from same evolutionary line, but not the same!!
Truth be told , at some point you should do this challenge, ban all pokemon who have the same name in multiple languages ( like pikachu or mewtwo) and have a native speaker just read em out

Maybe you can try switch or stay, both of you pick a random encounter, then each will select if they want to keep it or switch with the other, if both chose switch it gets cancel and both get stuck with the original choice, if just one chose switch then it has priority and both need to change, just think about it, love your videos have a great day

How about choosing randomized pokemon knowing only one of two things: what pokemon they are, or what their moves are.
How about random stats and choose a Pokémon only knowing their highest stat
