Just came across this channel a couple weeks ago. I've almost finished all of the videos. Very delighted to see a new one. Keep up the good work, Ryan.
Yessir! One of my favorite language guys on YT. Up there alongside Jared Hartman, Kazu Languages, Goremi Languages, Oriental Pearl, Blondie in China, and a bunch of others. Love and props from California, Ryan!
Most rewatchable channel for sure. I think I've rewatched most of your videos more than 3 times. Keep up the mantap content and I hope to see you re-enter the Filipino community on OmeTV soon!
Always fun to see you talking with the ladies. The guy interactions are nice as well. Rather than joking that you don’t know Chinese, it seems better where you just switch over. Keep at it on the weekends and eventually there must be a video with Kazuma.
It's always funny to see the geographic relations in different countries 😂 If you are in Germany for example (or basically anywhere in Europe) and you live 5hrs away from a big city, you can NOT say that you live near that city 😂😂
I’m surprised you haven’t added Vietnamese and Thai to the repertoire yet. Vietnamese in particular is so easy to find people to practice with in the U.S. I took a few Vietnamese classes in college. The tones are even harder than in Mandarin.
Another great vid, thanks Ryan! These young people are so nice. I have an idea for something funny you can do: next time someone offers to teach you a phrase in a language you know, instead of repeating it back badly, repeat it back *perfectly* ! They'll probably be shocked, but just say, "Wow, you're a really good teacher!", then ask them to teach you another phrase. Then do the same thing again and again until they finally catch on. I think that'd be pretty cute! Another thing to try is pretending not to know their language (as usual), but then ask them to ask you a question in their language, but then *think* the answer to you very clearly. Pretend to get their answer in your mind, then repeat it back to them haltingly, but pretend like you don't know what words you just said. Like they beamed the answer into your head somehow! I dunno, just some fun ideas to play with! Looking forward to your next vid!
Thank you for the kind words! And as far as Russian...very slowly haha. I try to not let the grammar overwhelm me. It's still daunting to me to this day!
Ryan, I didn't realize you live about 20 minutes from me! I work in an office near HVCC every day. Nice to see we got some polyglots in the capitol district too.
Russian girls said that they are from Ulyanovsk. Ulyanovsk, known as Simbirsk until 1924, is a city and the administrative center of Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Volga River 705 kilometers (438 mi) east of Moscow. Ulyanovsk has been the only Russian UNESCO City of Literature since 2015. The city was the birthplace of Vladimir Lenin (born Ulyanov), for whom it was renamed after his death in 1924; and of Alexander Kerensky, the leader of the Russian Provisional Government which Lenin overthrew during the October Revolution of 1917. It is also famous for its writers such as Ivan Goncharov, Nikolay Yazykov and Nikolay Karamzin, and for painters such as Arkady Plastov and Nikas Safronov.
7:54 We already know you are God of languages. Wondering how you have learned them... get outta here. But we will watch the ad 😄. You are🐐Ryan born with the master of languages.
Ryan, Can you practise arakanese (aka rakhine) Its really cool. Like How are you? = Ni koing lar Hello! = Tha li zor ba Whats your name Mor na mi za huh lay
I have a frustrating experience. Not knowing where to begin or hitting a plateau can feel demoralizing and make it hard to hit the books and study like you know you should…Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.
Haven't seen a new video in a while. Alerts are now on. I've slowly been learning Tagalog as the people who work at my assisted living are from the Philippines. They talk a lot of poo but every now and again I'll drop one word that makes them shocked and know that I can understand. All because I've been watching you forever.
Ja Mr. Hale, mal ein Dankeschön für die tollen Videos. Ich habe alle Ihre Videos gesehen und freue mich immer wenn ein neues erscheint. Beste Grüße aus Deutschland...
You have a main camp of study and a specific focus that is sometimes an interest like a language or something else you like. For example a Mechanical Engineering could get a minor in Electrical engineering
@RyanHaleYT Yeah i kinda knew that with the sponsor beeing italki hahaha. Had the goal for this year to start learning japanese but getting my day to day life on the right path again got the priority so maybe next year the japanese learning will start but NOT on dualingo hahaha. For now i'll keep it at Dutch, english & a bit of german 🙈
@RyanHaleYT 👍🏻 Of course & keep up the good work. Personally I only speak English & Irish but that is like 60%. Just because I only speak when I'm over visiting family in Ireland. I'm a dual citizen. I was just over there for 3 weeks at October 17th
Its cool you know how to speak with the world. I know only english...but...I did live in and then near albany for 30 yrs. 1st in Albany on central ave. Then in the town of Bethlehem just outside of Albany...Then in the town of Greenville, about 20 miles SW.
Unfortunately CN's only polit. party indoctrinates a lot of hateful stuff and Japan is one of the main targets, mostly with the...reason "can't forgive what happened in WW2" (sadly doesn't matter to them that the responsible people from back then aren't alive anymore). Hatred is destructive and closed-minded, hatred _over generations_ even more so... But it's useful for the party to have someone "on the outside" to blame as an outlet, otherwise the governm. might be criticized -- or more. Don't get me wrong, the people are great, I hope they can free themselves from the oppressive system sooner rather than later and appreciate cultures/nations like JP just as much. 👍

Let’s goooo! That’s amazing, keep it up, one day you’ll be shocking them fluently haha
Ryan... you need to put a box in front of you. Tell them when you speak English into the box IT WILL talk in their language. 👍👍👍
Oneday, Ryan will be a big boss in some big international company. I am sure. Maybe next Temu CEO?
Haha!
@RyanHaleYT yeah! You have all prerequisites for it, languages, education etc.
Ja Mr. Hale, mal ein Dankeschön für die tollen Videos. Ich habe alle Ihre Videos gesehen und freue mich immer wenn ein neues erscheint. Beste Grüße aus Deutschland...
Please do more videos often🙏
Mr Ryan Hale is a language phenomenon
Thank you fellow Ryan!
Ryan gets all the girls, all rest of us are left with none!!
Haha I would be nervous if a Chinese person asked me what I thought of Japan 😅
Good to see you back bro! I couldn't stop smiling throughout the video..
When talking about college, what is a "minor" over there? Here in Spain you can't study subjects outside the official syllabus of the degree course.
You have a main camp of study and a specific focus that is sometimes an interest like a language or something else you like. For example a Mechanical Engineering could get a minor in Electrical engineering
If I looked 20 then people would want to practice speaking with me too.
Why is it that every time i watch a ryan hale video i wanne learn a new language 🤣🤣🤣🙈

Haha I'm back!
We are not wondering how you can speak diffrent languages but where have you been??😢😂😂
Getting new IRL content... :D
@RyanHaleYT it should be one every month. Good stuff 🤗
It was somewhat disheartening to see the chinese group "hate" on Japan.
Thats what im saying! Imo japanese food is the best
Yea Chinese people often do not really like the Japanese sadly
I wonder if its historical hate or just plain old prejudice against Japanese people.
Clearly historical (remember Nanjing) but at some point you have to let it go..
Unfortunately CN's only polit. party indoctrinates a lot of hateful stuff and Japan is one of the main targets, mostly with the...reason "can't forgive what happened in WW2" (sadly doesn't matter to them that the responsible people from back then aren't alive anymore).
