The best educational presentation about lasers I’ve ever seen! Excellent integration of the historic development of laser technology combined with numerous clearly explained illustrations. Thank you.
BTW, in 2010 I had elective femtosecond wavefront lasik vision correction. The femtosecond laser, I believe, was developed at the Lawrence Livermore Lab at UC Berkeley. The University of Michigan Medical School developed the extraordinary femtosecond wavefront Lasik procedure. My vision went from 20/80 to an incredible 20/16 and the femtosecond laser’s precision removed my lifelong astigmatism. Amazing!

Loved the presentation. I wish we could do this in person - but this is a nice comforting substitute :)

Great work. Good energy. I love the use of haze to demonstrate the corner mirror cube. Can’t wait for the Exploratorium to open up again; Ron’s yearly laser show in August jam-packs the Kanbar Forum. Get there early.
