- Vuelta a España 2023 stage 10 highlights. A 25.8km individual time trial starting and finishing in Valladolid. There's one small climb in the first half but is mostly flat on wide roads, making it a stage for the TT specialists.

From my point of view, ganna are stronger and faster when the TT is not have hard technical turn. Maybe handicap from height and weight?
Used to cost me 450w to get near 50, that is insane.
Let's think a minute here.. what Remco has achieved, bcuz Ganna had a easy fairing until the time trail, but Remco was on the front every day. RESPECT
Kuss and Soler did a great Job at defending their GC positions....amazing! it's going to be War in the remaining mountain stages!
They did, but it won't last. Remco is only 1 minute behind Kuss. I expect Kuss to start working for Roglic. Jumbo can't afford to play around with a Kuss project and risk losing the Vuelta. Not with all the firepower they brought to this race. They have a unique opportunity to win all 3 Grand Tours in 2023. Kuss is a nice story, but that's it.
@@Mike-rm1lbi think that if Kuss did worse this TT he would go to work for Roglic. Since Sepp got a reasonable lead on Remco and with Jonas not having the best legs I think Jonas will be more of a helper and Kuss who's one of the best uphill guys will get his change to hild his lead.
@@Mike-rm1lb i'm not sure....Kuss already proved himself on really long tough climbs.....I even think he is better than Remco on a climb like L' Angliru....
@@pauljansen1137 Sepp is on his 3rd GT! Roglic has trained specifically for this race. It's a team sport, there are team orders. I would temper my expectations.

At some point, Jumbo Visma will have to make a choice as to which rider they should go all in for in the GC. Would be great to see Primoz and Jonas be superdomestiques to Sepp for all his help in the Giro and the Tour. GC Kuss is real!!!

I am wondering if today makes Vingegaard a domestique for Jumbo the rest of the tour. Doesn't seem like he has the legs to make that kind of comeback.
He can take over Kuss's super domestique role - all-out attack in the mountains, and if he can drop everybody, who knows, he may even become a GC candidate

maybe jonas can get in the breakaway tomorrow, that would force remco and his team to work again. if they succeed, jonas makes up time - if not, roglic and kuss will give remco a hard time on the final climb.
He can attack more freely now. He’s definitely not at his peak but I think his condition will improve and he can still win this. Has to be in imperial form if he wants to beat the competition. Still possible though.

Sepp takes it as long as team management actively supports to have everyone else ride for him. Else, Sepp being the helper of the team will remain with that mentality and let seconds slip by. They are no longer in this let's wait and see what happens thing. The players have made their mark and now it's down to determining firm leadership.

I love it. Ving destroyed the time trial so badly at the Tour that everyone knew he was doping. So how do you get the doping spotlight off of yourself? By purposely having a horrible time trial in La Vuelta. Only it's too late, we all know the truth.

Ganna is time trialing at speeds that most of his competitors can't even reach when they are sprinting!

First time watching cycling this year? There is a reason why almost nobody can do a GT double with the TDF. Also, 6.99 w/kg as reported in the ITT isn't something both Pogacar and Evenepoel haven't done.

The TT in TDF is a climbing course which suits his strengths.
Exactly. This course is for the specialists. Two time world champ wins and current world champ 2nd. Jonas had no chance. His Vuelta addition was late and he'd been celebrating the TDF a bit. These other guys have been pointing for this much longer.
