Thanks and good to see you as well. I was in the water at sunrise and left right after you did. 7 hours of kayak fishing is the longest I have been out. I was dragging a bit the next day:-)
I haven't kept any inshore fish since I started fishing here last summer, but I may keep some one of these days. I don't even know which species is the best tasting. I tried both Flounder and Redfish at a restaurant and liked the Flounder better but maybe it was how they were prepared. Any recommendations on best tasting is appreciated.
@@FishingwiththeOz I love catching reds but don't love to eat them. Their okay. Flounder and trout are def the best tasting inshore in my opinion. I keep one every now and again, but we let 95% of them go. I'm a fan of my kids and future generations being able to catch fish.
@@FishingwiththeOz sheepshead are actually really good too. Gotta be a big enough one tho because they have alot of rib bones u gotta cut out. They are excellent
@@thefishingfool3397 if you were an actual conservationist you would only fish with the end goal of consuming. As it stands you do it for sport which at the end of the day is selfish. Size and bag limits are put in place by fwc and other governing bodies backed by scientific research. If I was told I had to throw back every fish I caugbt I simply wouldn't fish. I'd rather it a wild caught fish then a fish that was farm raised on shit in vietnam.
@@djdedeo0 save it dude. I don't need to be educated about fishing. U keep all ur little fish and I'll do whatever I want. Funny the people who get upset about people letting fish go....
By adding the nice jack, you got the Moultrie slam! Good fishing!
Thought that trout was a snook for a split second.. nice thick speckled trout🤙🏽
Those Jack's sure will put up a fight
Such a cool location and good fishing.
My favorite creek!
Congrats on the slam buddy. That was a good day. Great seeing you out there👍

Are you using live or artificial bait?
On that day I was using live shrimp. Thanks for watching.
Wait until you catch a proper sized drum.

Thank you young man! April 15 is around the corner - good luck and tight lines!
