What does the final sale number mean? Lets say the final number he calls is 144, is that the total price in dollars? The price per head? The price for every 100 lbs? The price per lb, divided into 100 lbs? I just don't remember how much they are selling for when the final price is called out.
@@gsnicholas8522 Well I'm happy for you. As an auctioneer myself, in New Zealand for 40 plus years, several things were of utmost importantance, when marketing a clients product. One of those was that you must be absolutely clear and understandable. In my opinion, he is not.
As a cattle buyer in the United States for the last 30 years, I'll agree clarity is important. So is speed. We sell hundreds if not thousands of head of livestock in just a few hours. All of our very good auctioneers sell fast like that, and are easy to understand.
Boy does this take me back to my youth. To the point I can smell the manure and cigars.
This is the place where the rap started.

chickens accidentally buying a hay wagon
As a non-native speaker this is my worst nightmare in a listening test.
As a native speaker I can tell what numbers he's saying and most filler words are just too fast to catch unless you're listening very hard
They need a Signer to interpret for the deaf people. 😁😁
These guys are faster than Eminem.
Ziggmanster 10xs faster than him alright!
The auctioneer sounds familiar!
You've been to auctions in person?
@Frank Lee, yes I've been to livestock and estate auctions but thought the rattle sounded a little like Max Olvera who I've seen here on the Tube.
That auctioneer would be my cousin Danny deters he's one of the best auctioneers around.
In Montana? I think I've been to this same place
