I love that you mention whether the ink is wet or dry... its one of the properties I look for in an ink!

Havasu Turquoise is my current "ink of the month" for correspondence. 😉
And I recently purchased Pumpkin. 😁
Diamine is great inks for possibly the best price I've found. (Being on a fixed disability income, that can make or break my purchase of an ink.) The Online Pen Company from Stourport on Severn has consistently beaten any domestic sellers from here in the United States. (Not an affiliate, but a very happy customer. 😁)
I really appreciate your sharing the selection of various inks! Thanks so much!

Nice colors of Ink and I only have the Turquoise and Purple. In person I liked the Tyrian Purple more than I expected. Love the greens.

I would love if you did an ink series on high saturation no sheen inks. Different preference than some, but I and others prefer it. Thanks!

Yu-yake and Kin mokusei are slightly easier to reliably get where I am, but I think Pumpkin is one I'd like to grab if a local retailer gets some in. Spring Green reminds me of Sailor Waka-uguisu, maybe slightly lighter. I'm still on a search for a good purple, and while I do like difference in my shading that Tyrian Purple is very appealing.

I've been using Monteverde Olivine in one of my pens, just sent out two letters today with it on a cream stationery. It's dark enough, that, particularly with a fine nib, at first glance one might not notice its green color.

You say it's water, but I can see the outline of Gordon's on the bottle. Cheers.🍾

Hi Dave, I've been thinking about doing ink comparisons for a while. Nothing fancy, just comparing new inks to relevant extant ones which I have. I was doing to get a glass dip pen. Do you think they are any good? Is this a better way to go for my limited needs?
Thanks for yet another outing with some nice inks. Diamine Sepia is definitely one for me to try. 😁

I have a lot of Diamine inks but none of these so this very helpful. really don't like the Spring Green, either the swatch or the writing sample. I'm not a fan of the swatches of the Pumpkin, Ultra Green or the Tyrian. But the writing samples are lovely.

Ultra Green is my first Diamine ink and likewise my first green ink I ever bought. I wanted a green that is a true colour to what I’ve seen in photos and so far I enjoyed using it.

I got that inked up in my Lanbitou 3059 (which is a TWSBI ECO knock-off) that has a fine nib and within a couple of hours, I am immediately in love with it.

I have yet to try another one from the Diamine collection, but also try to stop myself on overspending so much bottles of ink.
