I was just thinking that...to have been through all she has been through and she continues to smile and always looking out for someone else. But when is Burak going to get it, Serra is not interested in him. You can't make someone love you or buy their love. Human emotions just don't work that way.
Biricik is the one pushing Burak to go this far because she feels her chance with Selim is being threatened by Serra getting close to Selim. Selim doesn’t even know that Bicirik has placed a camera in his room to monitor him. What a sly girl going all the way to get someone who’s not interested in her.

Ever since Burak saw Serra, he has been harassing her 😡despite the fact that every single time she wanted nothing to do with him and she made it clear to him. It started by stopping her on her way in and asking her questions about her personal life. Then he put a claim on her and told Selim that Serra was his 'yenge' meaning sister-in-law. Then he followed her and showed up at her door and even though Serra protesting to his behaviour told him what was he doing there. When Serra's mother (oblivious to the situation and thinking he was a friend ) invited him in he went in and sat at her table. On this episode at 28:39 Burak stopped Serra and grabbed her arm asked her if she had forgiven him. (for previous harassment , stalking her and going to her house). She got mad and told him off and told him "to leave me alone". Selim was watching and asked him about what was going on, he lied and said she was upset about the girl who was committing suicide. Then again at 1:49:22 he stopped Serra at the library and asked her to go to the party with him. Again she in, her low voice, told him she was not interested and had to study. Then despite all her rejections and telling him to leave her alone, he sent flowers and a dress to her house as if she wanted to go to the party with him and had no dress. This time she gave him the dress back and told him off yelling. Burak saw his friend watching kissed her by force and after all this she slapped him which he really deserved it.
There is something psycological there. She always had a parent role for that woman. The mother loced her son and neglected her. After his suicide she totally neglected her daughter and became demanding totally ignoring the fact that this young girl had to handle work and school. Remember when she went to pick her mother from the police station, the mother wanted a taxi? That says it all.

1:41 We know that when Selim was young he was sexually abused by Asena. His boundaries are messed up. Idil is a predator. She is not any better than Asena, but she had different techniques to get him. She is the same age as Selim's mother. She is a family friend and has been his mother's friend and he trusted her as a family friend. When Selim was hurt and broken his father shipped him to America. Selim needed therapy but went to her and poured his heart to her. So this woman while talking to him and giving him a shoulder to cry on , she slept with him. So she made him feel better. She likes being with young men it seems. She took advantage of his vulnerabilities and used him for sex. He is broken again and has nowhere to go, so he shows up at her door because she makes him feel good and put a bandaid on his wounds. Really a sad story. Women and men like this belong to jail.
@@studydesign2071 We are not talking about their age now. We are talking about messed up senses of trust. manipulated boundaries, anger, and depression. You and I have been in families that have protected us. These very real issues are existing in every country, every society every school every place of worship. As corrupted people live among us in many different shape and forms. Survivors of trauma and childhood sexual abuse usually are quiet and they do not report. From the small number who get the courage to speak up very few succeed to get justification for what had happened to them. These issues are very real but this is not the place to discuss in detail. Sexual abuse of children is very common and is nothing new. Only in recent years survivors are finding courage and voice to share their experiences with others and counsellors. Our job is to believe and give them support as and if they need it and ask for it. It is disrespectful to say "That was in the past, for get it and get on with your life" . It is cruel and damaging not to believe them or to silence them. If we do, we add to their pain. For now it is enough to say that when children go through that, even if they hide it in a compartment in their brain in order to survive, they are still affected and act on it on a subconscious level. Their whole lives get affected their relationships get messed up. If they are very young they may put that horrible experience in a part of their brain and forget about it to survive (but this is always with them). Sometimes in their adulthood some thing , a smell, a word, a place a person may trigger them and their memory comes back and they get flashbacks. They feel as if they are there and it is happening to them again. I have seen it happen many times. As women in this society, we are usually protected and many of us do not even know it happens, Here Selim was old enough to remember and we saw that his boundaries are messed up with the second violation of boundaries by his mother's friend , Idil. Everyone was shocked to see him at that women's door but what he went there for was not love or making love it was hate. and retaliation and punishment of his father. Yes he is an adult but his soul has been messed up with. That is why he is so thirsty for hearing the words "I love you" from Serra. He has been deprived of love . You ask why he is going to Serra? That is your answer. Because that is the only time in his life he felt love was with Serra. Serra has not been sexually abused but she was traumatized as a child and she also needs to heal her soul. Adults but both with childhood traumas.

I'm so with Serra and the way she is handling Burak, because he is creeping me out. The boy got major stalking tendencies going on, with a side order of delusion. He acts like Serra owes him something just because he is obsessing over her. She has not once given him a reason to think in any universe that she is remotely interested in him. And he can clearly see what is going on between her and Selim, even though they aren't acknowledging it yet. Selim is so damn fine and he and Serra look so good together.
You are right on point here. She said it he has a mean part that he is hiding. He also proved that he is classist and thinks that rich people deserve respect regardless of what they do when he said to her "don't treat me like one of the guys in your neighbourhood" OH so because he is rich (corrections just because he is born to a rich couple) he thinks he deserves a better treatment regardless of what he does. I am so glad they put a guy from her neighborhood who was stalking Serra at the beginning but despite him being a criminal he still stopped when he realized she was not in to him and loved another man.
Am I the only perperson thinking the reason Selina’s dad thinks he knows Serra from the university is because she actually is the daughter of the man who owes him money he’s looking for?
I like how serra and selim poured thier hearts out n spoke about thier parent demise ❤ on d other hand burak trying so hard for serra bt she doesn see him also

Thank you I was thinking I was the only one . Poor girl is carrying a huge load on her shoulders. AT a young age she did not have a chance to be a kid and she had to grow up in one day and become a parent to her mother. She is an A student and got a scholarship but still she is responsible to pay the bills. Her mother does not bother to get a job and earn some money to help with the bills. So of course she will be serious as when she is at school she still calls to check up on her mother. She still has to go to the police station to pick up her mother and outside police station, what did her mom say? she wanted to go home by taxi. @@MariO-wh6dr When he invaded her personal space he gave her the right to be rude although I did not see anything rude she was mad she expressed her feeling by yelling at him. I would have slapped him more. Yes people do not get it it is scary when women say that. To me it means that if a man like Burak abus them they take it with open arms. These are the woman who risk their safety and put themselves at risk of rape. Here is what happened to put Serra in that situation to slap him.
Yah
I recently got addicted to Turkish drama, how they direct the slow burn romance, and plot, is somewhat appealing to me
I love the way serra adores her mum
0
Absolutely. Her patience is remarkable
I dont think its a healthy adoration though, the mom is unstable. she needs to heal.
that's what I love about sara

I have seen many women are mad at Serra accusing her of all kinds of things. You as a woman please check all this points and please state if she had the right to get mad and yell at him or not.
Selim isn't a child now so why is he going to her ?? He put himself her not her fault they both are fully aware what they are doing.
I love your analysis, I feel bad for Selim

Serra didn't even give Burak a chance, forget everything she didn't even talk with him nicely when he wanted to just simply talk, and Selim argued with her still the story goes the way the producer wanted it to go, like even after lots of arguments she talked nicely with Selim, but even before burak stalking her she never even said a friendly hello🙂 basically the producer wanted that there should be a love triangle, but he messed up! at least would have shown conversations of Serra and Burak to be friendly!

Then you have to go in Turkey 😂😂

Then u will also be obsessed like those girls

I like Sera's seriousness especially at university
Poor girl is carrying a huge load on her shoulders. AT a young age she did not have a chance to be a kid and she had to grow up in one day and become a parent to her mother. She is an A student and got a scholarship but still she is responsible to pay the bills. Her mother does not bother to get a job and earn some money to help with the bills. So of course she will be serious as when she is at school she still calls to check up on her mother. She still has to go to the police station to pick up her mother and outside police station, what did her mom say? she wanted to go home by taxi. So this young girl is not serious because she is at school she is serious because she had to become like a middle age parent and had no time to be happy and have some fun in her life.

Burak needs to back off and respect her boundaries. People are seriously defending this guy in the comments 🥴 if he were ugly I wonder if it would be the same reaction.
I don’t know why everyone is attacking Burack, he was just persistent chasing the girl he wanted, it’s normal to want to keep trying and not give up, sometimes if you persist you win
No, it isnt normal. If the other person, from time to time has made it clear that they aren’t interested in you, you do not ‘keep on approaching them’. Especially, you do not stalk them, invade their privacy or kiss them. None of that. Infact you learn to except the rejection and move on.
Both the brothers, Selim and Burak are having a crush on Serra, aww😍
Barabos actually reminded me the big brother type making sure there's no trouble🤣
Serra...lead actress ki acting superb....vo bhut hi simple, beautiful humble v caring v affectionate dikhati hai.....lazwab v dilkash
Their dress up and boldness made me feel like i am watching a american drama..so classy ...even the dad is so tempting. 😆😆😆😆😆
Burak acting is convincing and solid... 👏👏👏👏
I think Selim's step mom figured out that the lady who had lunch with them is dating Selim. I noticed that she made a weird face when the lady said the young people like a older woman to have a future with .
Who is that lady n why is Selim with her I thought he isn't interested in girls, 😒 why is he sleeping around wt women I don't want him to be lead actor now. Burak is btr
@@beiseichorei1229 Her name is Nilus . I think she is the same women who Selim's went to go see at the end of the second episode.
@@beiseichorei1229 he isn't sleeping around, I think that old lady was the only one there when he needed emotional support and she took advantage of that so now he keeps going back to her when a problem occurs because he has no one else to rely on which is quite sad really.
@@beiseichorei1229 shut up… nobody wants a lead that’s super pure. Bad boy leads or play boys are way more interesting.
Idil is not dating Selim . She has used him when he needed a shoulder to cry on. She is his mother's and Serra's mother friend and is trusted by the family but she has taken advantage of Selim being vulnerable and slept with him like a band aid to his psychological pain.
Barabaros looking the shop owners son up and down and then asked him "why are you screaming son" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 both men trying to attract the same woman that won't pay them any attention 🤦🏻♀️
Serra's acting style has made to remember Nihhan who was in Kara Sevda🙌
Sure
Nihan and kemal was the purest couple ,a true loving partner❤❤
Ooh Serra and Selim's Mum and Dad use to be boyfriend and girlfriend in High school?! Oh wow!! That's why Selim's Dad was starring at Serra when he saw her, as she is meant to look like her Mum when younger!!
that barbar or whatever his name is is creepy. I hope they'll stop showing him on the series
Barbar is hot and yummy and all. hahahaha
He actually becomes funny later on the show
@@lialiaref yup, I just finished the series and he turned out to be a good character.
He is a bully as we see he eat of people's fear and is a free loader and runs the thiefs when it is safe for him. He is attracted to Serra but later when he realized that Serra loves Selim he backed off and supported Selim. He is not a good man but he has lines that he won't cross so he is more reliable than Burak who has Obsessive Love Disorder.
@@sammiepascual6456 lmao I was looking through the comments wondering how I could be the only one thinking this crazy guy is hot
I really don’t like Burak… he keeps imposing himself in Serra’s life and trying to make it seem like she has ‘secrets’ about her life and he’ll keep them so it stays just between them. I’m sick of him because he’s blackmailing her and using reverse psychology 😡 yes he’s hot / attractive and all but that doesn’t excuse his behavior. Also you can see how much it irritates Selim when Burak and Biricick talks as if he and Serra have something 🥺🥺 literally just waiting for Serra and Selim to release their pent up feelings towards each other. Atp there’s so much angst. Also omg Barbaros is so annoying..l I hate that he acts like he has to be Serra’s watch dog or like he has some claim over her because she lives in his neighborhood. He’s so stalkerish actually no - he is a stalker. and for what?
Barbar is mad because Burak is over Serra house .so far 4 guys likes Serra !
I was looking for another Turkish series found this one by mistake I clicked on it.nowww I'm hooked lol love it!
❤️ this drama series. Thanks for uploading with English subtitles. From Singapore 🇸🇬
Why is everyone in the comments saying why is serra mean to burak when the reason is obviously clear!!!he is stalking and harassing her even when she made it CLEAR she wants nothing to with him and is not interested
Baby the way Asena read Biricik my goodness! Deserved
Aaah "enjoy your meal" And it's water...Beetroot😂😂😂
Burak as beetroot 😂😂

Barbar is so funnnn 😂 I wish he was the main character 😂
