I gotta say, I hella appreciate Andy's character. Most slasher films dont make interesting protagonists, but whether its little kid Andy setting Chucky on fire, or adult Andy shotgunning/stomping Chucky's head in (all with wicked one-liners), Andy has easily become the most badass horror movie protagonist in my eyes.
The most badass horror protagonist is Ash Williams from Evil Dead. He is pretty much the only horror icon that's not a villain, and stands with those other characters. Andy has nothing on him, even though I do like Andy.
Anyone else ever notice in Toy Story that their owner's name is Andy lol. So maybe in a twisted dimension this is the toy's getting back at Andy but all the rest were destroyed by Andy and this is whom they sent for pay back lol.

In the original movie you had to destroy the heart. St one point chucky was decapitated and the head could give the body orders. So Andy is hedging his bets.

This is the first time that Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay actually successfully kills Chucky. Chucky survived being burned alive by Andy, while in the third film Andy was portrayed by Justin Whalin not Vincent, and of course it's revealed in this film that Andy kept Chucky's severed head alive to torture him. I just think it makes this scene even more badass and memorable!
This scene was cool but I gotta admit I find it weird that Andy's able to overpower him so easily, when the last 6-7 movies Chucky's shown to be ridiculously strong for his size.
