Yeah, the main argument people were making against the new arena format is that it lacks catch-up cards like board clears or spells in general. There are a lot of good minions that can fit the Single-target removal aspect, but if the opponent swarms their board, you would need a good board clear to clean up and most minions lack that board clear aspect. Additionally, the ones that have board clear properties end up lacking in power level (e.g. Flamecaller, Dreadscale, Unstable Ghoul), require another card to trigger (e.g. Duskbreaker, Kalimos, Arcanosaur), or have some other drawback (e.g. Corrupted Seer [bad stats for mana cost], Fatespinner [difficult to trigger on your turn], Explosive Sheep [this one might actually be good]).

Halloween Arena was fun stuff back when it actually felt like dual class. Now it feels like a bunch of neutrals, with a small handful one classes cards with a different Heropower. Fun playing as a Warlock Rogue with 0 Rogue card and like 2 Warlock cards. Not even the exclusive Halloween portraits returned. Blizzard really dropped the ball on this one.
There are so many other protests that are more imperiled and more substantial. What about the Yellow Vests? What about Iraq? What about Haiti or Ecuador? Screw your astroturfing. Trump, I've become such a better player by watching your video's. All those times you were down to just whatever cards you had in your hand and an empty deck with an opponent many lifepoints greater than you and still managed to get a win has shown me how there's (almost) always a way to win.
He purchased some expansion pack, but than blizzard gifted it to him. So Trump asked for a refund on the pack, but opened some of them already. The packs that were opened already opened were treated as if they were bought with gold instead. The amount of gold those packs were worth was greater than his total gold, hence negative gold. (Or something like that)
He purchased the Uldum preorder without realizing Blizzard was giving him one for free. Since he already opened the packs at that point, Blizzard chose to remove the value of those packs in gold, since you can't take away opened packs. It was originally at 8000, and has decreased over the past month.
I don't like new arena, even if I get good results - currently averaging over 10 arenas 7.5 winrate. Pick paladin and ping class. Even if I am doing Spectacularly, its not fun. 1st vs 2nd is pretty big deal right now, almost no comeback cards. Example :I lost 9-3 in my last arena run, because opponent coined Kel'Thuzad while he had the 3/4 divine shield taunt minion on board.
Yeah it's kinda how you saying - little bit boring and 1 versus 2 matters way more than normal with such little amount of reactive cards as well as curvestone. Tripple rate of legendaries in this envoirment is also terrible as 1 good legendary like kelly can easily be autolose. Still 7.5 is extremelly good in this meta as it's from 5-6 wins forward purely on draft dependant in my opinion. For example my last 4 decks all were in 66.2-66.8 dp range, they went 5-0 or one 5-1 and than ended up at 6-3, 6-3, 7-3, 7-3. Just once you reach around 4 dp difference there isn't even a game xd Tbh i don't think there is any good player who likes this particular arena meta.

Freeze is poorly explained but, as the other commenters said, it has nothing to do with turns and everything to do with attacks. If you play Raptor and then the Frostrider, the Raptor will remain frozen until the end of your NEXT turn because it couldn't attack the turn you played it, so it misses the attack it ordinarily COULD take on the next turn. If you play Boar and then Frostrider then the Boar will only remain frozen until the end of your turn because it could already attack immediately after being played. It's simple, but not well explained in-game.

Maybe someone can explain it to me, but why is the warrior hero power considered so bad? It theoretically counters 6 other hero powers in a head to head. Completely negates the damage coming out of hunter, paladin on their first use, and mage, rogue, and druid result in a positive armor gain. Negates the damage that the shaman has a 1/4 chance to get. I'm no hearthstone expert, obviously, but in a hero power reliant format like this, warrior seems like it would come out closer to the top of the pack for me.
Two words... board. Control. Warrior hero power does legit nothing to the board. Even priest can affect the board by healing his own minions, or in certain cases killing enemy minions. That 20 armor you may have gained from your hero power doesnt mean anything if I have 6 minions on the board because I keep setting up trades or outright killing your minion with my hero power.

If I remember correctly he purchased a pre-order of packs and was then given the same pre-order for free so he requested a refund on what he purchased. When this happens blizzard let's you keep all the cards you opened and they deducted the gold value from your account so it like you bought them with in-game currency instead of cash. Source: reddit.

Fellreaver is absolutely a value card. Not all value is in playing the extreme long game. Getting a +2/3 in stats at no cost (if you don't enter fatigue) is amazing value. Burnt cards are the same as cards you don't draw so long as you win before you deck out.

Maybe someone can explain it to me, but why is the warrior hero power considered so bad? It theoretically counters 6 other hero powers in a head to head. Completely negates the damage coming out of hunter, paladin on their first use, and mage, rogue, and druid result in a positive armor gain. Negates the damage that the shaman has a 1/4 chance to get. I'm no hearthstone expert, obviously, but in a hero power reliant format like this, warrior seems like it would come out closer to the top of the pack for me.
Two words... board. Control. Warrior hero power does legit nothing to the board. Even priest can affect the board by healing his own minions, or in certain cases killing enemy minions. That 20 armor you may have gained from your hero power doesnt mean anything if I have 6 minions on the board because I keep setting up trades or outright killing your minion with my hero power.
Hero health and armor matter mean nothing if you don't have a board to protect them...

Since he already opened the packs at that point, Blizzard chose to remove the value of those packs in gold, since you can't take away opened packs. It was originally at 8000, and has decreased over the past month.

If I remember correctly he purchased a pre-order of packs and was then given the same pre-order for free so he requested a refund on what he purchased.
When this happens blizzard let's you keep all the cards you opened and they deducted the gold value from your account so it like you bought them with in-game currency instead of cash.

after five or so arenas i haven't got a single legendary. of course lucky s.o.b. trump gets one after five seconds.
Legendaries now have tripple rate due to removing bucket system so you are just unlucky not trump being that lucky ;p

Burnt cards don't matter.
Also, fellreaver clearly gained a lot of value this run.
Fellreaver is absolutely a value card. Not all value is in playing the extreme long game. Getting a +2/3 in stats at no cost (if you don't enter fatigue) is amazing value. Burnt cards are the same as cards you don't draw so long as you win before you deck out.
