I LOVE the amount of effort they put into the minors - it’s such a cool and interesting concept to make each card an individual character. If the Greek pantheon or myths really resonate with someone, I could see this deck being a great addition.
So lovely. Just went to a Greek museum on the weekend. Enjoy this a lot. Do you ever read live with the cards? Would love to see if you utilise the cards. Thanks. Loved
It's a very beautiful deck with model-types that adjusts the tarot slightly. I like the writing in the book alot and quality of the product. I use it more as an oracle. Since they already included 3 or 4 cards with ethnic diversity, wish it had just a bit more.
🧿 it’s a very pretty deck. It may be more a deck for one-card draws for me as the lack of RWS style symbolism on the cards is something I miss. Thank you for the review! (I love your reviews.)
First I wasn't even sure if I should watch this video at all... Fortunatly I gave it a chance. I did really love These cards and the ancient greek gods theme. My stand out card is strength with Atlas ❤ also loved to see Demeter in the wheel of fortune ❤
I didn't like Demeter for the wheel and alot of other choices I didn't vibe with but wow beautiful artwork and all around nice deck .I would have thought Ares for the king of swords maybe, I don't know I truly enjoy the Greek pantheon and this deck is really cool but I'd luv to see that guide book lol ty Natasha for another great review💜
In my mind high priestess is about mystery, hidden truth, secrets , dreams , magic subconscious and reveal hidden truth linked to the moon , so doesn’t much with the innocent blond girl on the card which links more to the sun or empress as first picture. As Persephone links to high priestess but definitely not with this appearance! Maybe a brown hair young woman…more mysterious
I've had this deck for a little while, I got it in a subscription box and the images are really nice in person. The deck creator has made some comments on social media because people complained about who she chose for certain cards, and her reasoning makes sense. My only "con" is that there are some silly grammatical errors and typos in the guidebook that are not normal and it's distracting. Also I wish she said more about the myths as they are connected to the card meanings a little more. I can understand why people complain about the images, but I enjoy them, they are fantasy. It will take some time to get to know the deck for how she intended to use it. Overall, as Greek myths decks go, I like it. 🧿
I'm fine with idealized human figures especially for the Greek theme. What makes this unpalatable is the romance novel stylization, especially the women.
i may still probably get it, but i do have one complaint and that is of hades as the devil. hades being portrayed as the devil seems more like a christian view of the greek pantheon. i think people who aren't at least moderately knowledgeable of greek mythology forget that it isn't like mount olympus is heaven where all the good people go and the underworld is where all the bad people go. olympus was for the gods and the entirity of "heaven" and "hell", if people want to think of it that way, were both encompassed in the underworld. it also held their version of limbo. also, hades was one of the LEAST problematic gods in the pantheon. he was known to be incredibly stern, but also very fair. the rise of christianity, i think, is what changed society's perception of him and it's kind of sad. sorry for the long rant. i'm definitely a hades girl, so while i wasn't surprised, i was kind of disappointed to see him cast in that role yet again.
The art is so pretty, but even as a deck with gods and goddesses, the images are ridiculouly pretty. I mean, seriously? Hecate is a crone. Not a romance novel cover.
Hi. This is a common misconception. In the ancient myths and practices both in and outside of Greece Hekate is only ever depicted as a young woman. She was not depicted or characterized as a crone until Wicca came along. The crone of the time was actually Baubo.
See, I loved seeing that cause I absolutely love Greek God's and Mythos. I think they did amazing at picking the gods for each card. However, I will not be buying this. I wish they had out a tiny bit of effect in what they are doing rather than just a portrait for each card cause for me this deck just isn't usable in my practice as I rely on the symbolism to inspire me while reading and their isn't enough of it here for me.
What do you think about this deck? Which card stood out the most to you? Thanks for watching! ❤
Calliope - absolutely love this deck ❤

This deck is stunning. It’s an immediate yes for me. It’s my Valentine’s Day gift for myself 🥰
I'm so glad I found your video!! These cards look almost like photos in the previews I found, but this shows them SO much clearer. They're SO pretty!!
My fave deck! Absolutely gorgeous and love the card stock!
This is such a beautiful deck.. 😍 I have been reading Greek Myth since a young age, and this is definitely a deck for me!

So so beautiful deck, thank you for your flipth 🎉🧚♀️
This deck would be great for alter work. There's two goddess in the deck that I'd use for an alter, then just a statue so travel alter!

Kinda agree. Brownish, if not even some auburn hair would align better with the given character and the given scene.

Psyche in this deck looks like Billie Eilish to me 🤔
The gods look starved😢
I'm debating with this deck but, what does the gods being starved mean?
they look too skinny. @@lurkingintheforest
