When will the world understand that Ricardo is EXPERIMENTAL artist? Not every DJ has to obey the same rules like 1000 other DJs. You know what you get when you go to Villalobos set. You will KNOW it will be exceptional, memorable, crazy. Sometimes it's the best night of your life, sometimes it's weird. That is the cost for not being average boring.
In this case, Experimental sounds like an excuse for playing shitty music with awful mixing. I mean, i'm all for getting off it at raves, but when you're the guy who's in charge of playing the music and being paid huge amounts of money to do so, surely there's a line.
For all of you telling this is shit and not even mixing, he put up a masterclass set and was having some fun at the end of it. Amazing memories, glad I was there to witness :)

This video is precisely why Ricardo and Seth are two of the most entertaining DJs there are, they may be high but they’re having fun and taking risks musically - you’ll never see Dave Clarke playing an edit of Gotye but Ricardo makes it work - also for those of you criticising the mixing, please, both of them can mix brilliantly, there’s a few sloppy transitions but it’s still good. The unpredictability of this pair is what makes them such big performers.
Villalobos is a lie, to talk about technique, improvisation and surprise the public you should have known the scene of Valencia and its DJs more than 25 years ago, "Spook, Chocolate, Barraca, Puzzle, ACTV, NOD". Listen mixed to Front 242 with Wim Maertens, or to the Ramones with A Split Second, or The Sisters of Mercy with krafkwert.

have people never seen a Ricardo vid/set before? he talks all the time. he's known for partying hard. like Sven. man's a selector and an energetic presence. being a DJ isn't always about being 100% heads-down, locked-in for every second of your set. some times you want to immerse yourself in the crowd's frequencies, and elevate, in-order to empathize and provide what those around you, not us watching through a screen, need.

si es tan facil que muy pocos djs se atreven a hacerlo en vivo ya que tiene que ser casi perfecto en un unico beat ( en vinilo ) osea si fallas ya perderias el ciclo perfecto y la secuencia de tu set , en fin no es solo lanzar y sincronizar en cualquier parte , es saber hacer las respectivas inserciones en los momentos adecuados lo cual lleva tecnica . pero bueno supongo que tu seras un master performance .. .
