...because someone going straight to the upper floors of a hotel without checking in, being seen on cctv loitering around corridors and knocking on random room doors, then sat opposite the reception swiping key cards in a machine then going back upstairs and then exiting with a load of bags he didn't have before wouldn't alert hotel staff whatsoever...........unless the staff were blind
It depends on the scam and depends on their reaction for me. If they look genuinely sad, scared or panicked, I empathise. If it was a really stupid scam (like the clairvoyant ones), I'm quite indifferent to their reaction because most people are not that stupid and it's definitely an actor.
If you're paying for something by text, you don't need to give all your credit card details. The payment should go through your phone, company, which already has a way of billing you.
Astray bullet most countries don’t do anything about finger prints if it’s from foreigners, they aren’t going to cause a hassle to retrieve a couple hundred quid
