- In this episode of High Steaks, the stakes are high as Matthias and Bryan determine which online retailer sells the best steak on the internet. The guys blind taste test a variety of options, and the results of the experiment were SHOCKING!

sometimes longer format videos feel like they're just dragging out but not this one, i genuinely enjoyed every minute of the video and didn't notice how quickly an hour ended. looking forward to seeing more of these

What works best for me on thick steaks, is to sear the top and bottom of the steak at high heat and then immediately put it onto a medium heat once you get that sear. I also cook the sides as I go, so you get an even cook throughout! Love watching this channel, I’ve grown up cooking steak and it’s one of my fave things to make for dinner, so this channel is so cool to me and gives me so much incentive to try new cuts. Love you guys!❤

I am in love with this format, you all just actually having discussions, and talking while cooking, and with shots of behind the scenes crew! I LOVE IT!
Although, I do reccomend to use cups for your beer, cups allow for the foam to come out and can among other things help you feel less bloated AND it allows for more flavors and smells to come out, try it out :)
I would love to see an about 30-40 minute video involving you and Bobbeh, another with Kevin, with Marvin. Discussions about sports, hobbies, past and future of TE. Family, brotherhood, beliefs and religion.
Would love to have any opportunity to listen to you guys.

I think alot of the times we forget how long bryan matt and even joey have been on UA-cam they’ve seen several different concepts and ideas come and stay or come and go and to see their insight into yourube is fascinating to me theres alot to learn from them ❤

I really enjoy this kind of format. Being home with 3 kids under 6 while trying to keep the house clean and at the same time enjoy something is rare. With this kind of video, I don't HAVE to watch, listening is fun enough. But I can also watch while feeding the baby and it is still enjoyable. Thank you for a good vid :)

You can reverse sear the steak. Cook it on the grill, indirect heat (turn on the first 2 burners and put the steaks on the far right), put in the thermometer and get it to 125-130 degrees. Then, sear it in the cast iron pan on SUPER HIGH HEAT. Sear for about a minute or two on each side. Boom, perfectly medium rare steaks!
I absolutely love this channel, and I am so glad it is back! I have actually started making myself steak frequently because of you guys. This channel has been such a positive influence, and I am excited every time I see a new video drop. Please keep up this format, and maybe bring on hungry Joey again every once in a while. This was by far the best episode of High Steaks that's been released. I adore the personal connection and listening to the conversation taking place while throwing in the funny moments and of course the steak reviews all being intertwined. It reminded me of the golf content Brian brought up and how it's just completely serious about the topic. This video just as it would yo be ata cook out, and had the added fun of guessing which steak was which. Well done, and please do more content like this!

I'm only 11 minutes in the video before I realized that this is an over an hour video and I am not complaining in the slightest. I absolutely love this type of video where someone is cooking and having a discussion about the future about what it will entail and what might happen to a "corporation" or company like Team Edge and Spellbound. It just is like a genuine thirst for knowledge and wanting another perspective.

I *love* these longer types of videos! (I'm not fully through it, but I'm at the point where Matt asks about topic and guest ideas.) I feel like a reunion of Team Edge would be awesome with some steaks and drinks! Your favorite videos and ideas! You could all watch compilations again or bring your own favorite moments and watch it together!
You could also do a video talking about something like your favorite video games and why! Some of the things you learned from them and a message you held onto! I think that would be super interesting.

For thicker pieces of meat sear on the outside then put into a oven so that way you cook more evenly inside. Also always have a meat thermometer in hand.
I'm a vegetarian by choice and I still watch high steaks, mainly because this guys make me laugh, not because of the steaks.

Really good episode. Definitely keep the mystery as to which one is which (I wanted that in the previous episode and loved it in this one). I like Bryan's idea of trying to cook them more identically, hope that works out.

I think the YT discussion was interesting and so true, because I watch YT every day but I find myself watching what's recommended to me instead of checking my subscriptions. And as you can see- I'm nearly two months behind on watching videos of channels I'm subscribed to. I think it's partially because I like binge watching channels I subscribe to
