@Girl I know they need to memorize it but can all of them do it as flawlessly and as brilliantly as Hyunjin? Can they do it with their eyes closed? Do you have any idea how disorienting it can be to dance without seeing what you're doing? Do you have any idea how hard it is to maintain balance when you can't see? Can you imagine how much harder that must be when considering things such as dance moves, jumping, blocking, and moving between positions? I'd fight you for trivializing the effort and skill needed to execute performances as great as these but Stray Kids deserve more sensible fans than that.

I think I get it now, that weird mesmerizing quality of his dancing from SKZ player. I said he looks like he's in private and doing it for himself and he's SO INTO IT. It's because of his effortless dancing and the way he almost never looked at the audience, to the point that his eyes were closed for most of the dance. It gets even more pronounced here, where there's a live audience and you can see the other members looking right at them - but not Hyunjin. Hyunjin is still in his own world, with his head facing down or away from the audience, again, eyes closed except for a few moments and even then he's still not looking at the audience, or if he is, there's almost like a faraway look in his eyes... as if we were invisible to him. We get that feeling that we're peeking on something personal and intimate, watching him do his thing, heart clenching with every change in his expression as we wonder what could be running through his mind. And then 1:44 happens. He stares directly at us and it is at this point when it hits us that */he knew/* we were watching all along, he just didn't pay us any mind until that moment. His stare lingers before he goes back to his earlier behavior. We almost doubt that he saw us just a few seconds ago and as he continues, we settle into the belief that he really didn't see us, that he wouldn't grace us with his attention again. If at first we felt a thrill being the invisible observer of something private, we now felt the thrill of continuing our peeping even after we've been caught. Then when we least expect it: 2:50 "I know you're still watching". He proceeds with his dancing but every now again his eyes meet ours and our hearts skip a beat. I honestly have to thank Bang Chan for being in the way on their ending pose, if he wasn't there I'm sure Hyunjin would have killed me with his look. But you know what? Hyunjin could have done just that and I wouldn't have minded. Can you believe the power of this man? He kept his eye contact with us so brief but each time set off waves of emotions and left a lasting impression on us. I knew he wasn't of this world, nothing of this world could be this mesmerizing to watch.
