I was guided to this song 2:29 in the morning after praying Psalm 118:17 She shall Live for my Pastor Trevors 25 week niece that was prematurely born April 2020. Please join me in praying for this precious child of God. That not only will she Live but Thrive to Declare the Glory of God.
Melissa I have a niece also which is a premature 24 weeker and thanks to God she's here with us now she's 4 years old. Just put all your faith and trust in him that she will come out alive and healthy. And with all the caring, love, and attention that all your family gives her she will come out just fine. You know also moms breast milk is so helpful in the recuperation for a pre-mi. Also all the caring and constant warmth of her mother by her side will make her stronger and stronger until she's ready to go home. God bless 🙏 and keep her safe. She will be fine. 😇🙇♀️🥰

My youth group has a Camp each year (hosted by the family of one of my best friends) for the junior high/high school group. I heard this song for the first time while I was there last summer. One of the people I love most in the world had been going through a lot and decided (among other things) to abandon the faith. I found out everything that was going on with him, and that another person that is very dear to me would be moving out of state, all in about a months time. I remember the main message God had been nudging me with for a couple weeks before Camp was that I needed to let go completely and hand it all over to God. As soon as I heard the chorus ("If you say release, I'm letting go...."), I remember begging God. "Please. He needs me. He doesn't have anyone else..." over my worries I heard that beautiful, still, small voice. "No. He needs ME. I am the One who can save him. You can't. You need to rest." I just broke. I wept. I don't remember being aware of anything but being with God in that moment, and I gave Him my big brother (in reality, just a dear friend). I can't remember ever feeling as much peace and joy as I did that week. I KNOW my Heavenly Father will take care of him. We haven't spoke since then. I don't know if we ever will again. But if we do, it will be in GOD'S time, not mine. The song was where I surrendered, and I still come here often; because, let's be honest, we hold on to too much too often. I get help from this song and others, but that's my story with this song in particular.

When we forget self and the Spirit of TRUTH leads you to Prayer, Love and Wisdom of a God who gives us everything, we trust and we give thanks to the God who gave us His only begotten Son to save a sinner like me from allowing the devil to keep me in doubt, in fear and darkness by always bringing up my past that Jesus already forgave on the CROSS for all of us.
