@@Solosational Also the aramandi here is similar to bharathanatyam... 2.5 inches distance between the legs unlike the present day ones... That's quite interesting!!
@@SucilanSundar Actually, you can see that they are wearing full sarees ,not a typical mohiniyattam costume..so it's a limitation ...and it is a film, so you should do something which is according to the frame and all!! I have nothing to say to the person above who finds the present mohiniyattam boring...he lacks taste or doesnt know anything about mohiniyattam..thats it..!!
this looks like a cinematic dance.......the moves looks more similar to bharathanatyam and not mohiniyattam this version is also beautiful but the present day mohiiyattam is more gracious. i love it more than this performance

I find this mohinyattam is much better. the present day mohiniyattam is too slow and boring.
actually it is per beat of the film song...this same steps are used in kalamandalam....this was specially performed for the movie...

കല ആസ്വദിക്കാനും ഒരു കഴിവ് വേണം. മോഹിനിയാട്ടം ആണ് മറ്റു നൃത്വത്തേകാളും ഏറ്റവും ഭംഗിയോടെ ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്നത്. അതുപോലെ നല്ല artist കൂടെ ആവണം.
