1981 Subaru Brumby Project - Part Two

Nothing too exciting. This video mainly covers washing, cleaning and inspecting. The Brumby continues to impress. Considering its hard life outdoors in the elements as a farm ute, there is very little rust ... just a little bit of surface stuff, and no bondo or filler. The paintwork is very average but uniform. If we can't have it perfect, then this is the next best thing ... a little bit of character and patina. The next video will be about maintenance and the changing of oils, filters, spark plugs, etc.
One thing that's becoming more and more apparent is how rare this car is nowadays. Went to get brake parts and the guy was surprised there were any still on the road. A couple of Subaru/Brumby forums also made mention of the rarity. It's a double edged sword; love the fact it's more "unique, " dislike the difficulty in finding parts. Still chasing a left rear tail light. That's the biggest challenge.
