It looks like the Roamer is a newer model.
The D-Series looks like 1980's, while the Roamer SUV looks like 1990's.

I love SUVs, they don't have the best mileage, but you get the cargo space of a van, the ground clearance and 4WD of a pick up truck with the aforementioned features and the passenger space and coverage of a closed car. the best type of vehicle in my opinion. I absolutely would love to have a 2009 GMC Yukon Denali XL.
It's totally based off an Explorer. A Ranger also has the abrupt line on the door and the Explorer is rounded. Even though they use the same frame and drive train. Also "roamer" - 1992 Explorer owner.

murkinstock It's interesting this one looks more ford-ish while the D series looks chevy-ish.
After a second look, it looks like they took thee front of a Navigator and the rear of a Tahoe and glued them together. The interior is Ford through and through, though. Reminds me a lot of my 98 Mountaineers interior (although my Mountaineers interior was grey.)
Its looks more like an s-10 but the bed cover looks weird on it

Dude, 10 seconds to get up to highway speeds is not a bloody safety hazard -_- have you ever driven one of those small European hatchbacks with like 60hp that take like 15-18sec to get up to 60? No one has ever complained that they were safety hazards

I can confirm that cars should be able to get up to 60 in 20 second, according to the law
But the slowest car is the Dacia lodgy with 15 sec
Most are around 10-12 sec

I was talking of recent cars sold massively. Not old car like the Citroen 2cv of James Bond
The car which is the most sale is the Renault Clio with 95 hp
It gets up to 60 in 12 sec.
But there is a bit of old crappy Italian cars (fiat uno) with 60 hp, but they are 20 years old.

The roamer when it was released was OP. It still is. You could have a good crash and it would still drive
I was actually involved in a car crash where a skoda forman hit a mercedes ML at a 45° angle (as a passenger in the skoda) So kind of a similar set up to some of these crashes with the covet. Needless to say, this game may not be a legit crash test simulator, but the outcome of most of these crashes only confirmed my first hand experience. the skoda got totally ruined at the front side, like the entire left half of the nose was just gone, totally crumpled, compressed and pushed back over and behind the front wheel and the merc just had a scratch on the driver's side doors. Like... are you even serious? XD and we weren't even going 20 mph when we crashed, more like 15, and the ML was going slow too. Come to think of it, that's probably the only reason why i'm still here after sitting in that death trap of an old car anyway XD

Hey ybr do you know how to fix broken textures on some maps, I think I heard you say you don't know how but do you
19:11 a lot of those side crashes would total both cars... the frame of the car would be bent (the base) and therefore... in order for you to make it not totaled... pay about $100,000 in order to lift the car off it's frame, fix the frame, fix the car dents, weld the car back on, re-wire everything, and repair any electrical and furniture inside. THEN you have to pay for the insurance, and tax.
Blake Slocum For a truck that's 20 years old most people would just keep driving it and not care. I speak from experience owning a 20 year old vehicle with a bent frame.
WhyBeAre I agree, I don't have much experience with vehicles, so I have one question. if the drive shaft is bent along with the frame, would you have to repair the frame then the drive shaft? here is an example screenshot: prntscr.com/74cicy
Okay, here in the screenshot, the frame is bent like a V, so would that bend the drive shaft, and therefore, you having to repair the frame? And one more thing, great job with the videos! I want to be a you-tuber much like you, I have much of the same interests... I like crashing things, and I have always wanted to be a you-tuber... luckily I am getting a gaming computer... (better one) it will have at least 8 gigs of ram, and I am hoping for 16 gigs... once I make a choice of what computer I am buying, ill shoot you an email if you would want to know.. anyways, once again I love your videos, and your great at what you do... keep up the good work!!!

You should temporarily mod the vehicle and give it a crap ton of power and then play air hockey with it... It's so durable that there is less of a need to reset them all of the time

I would have expected this game to have more jeep mods since it has such a simple design.
With the D series Off road vehicles the have softer Sway bars (Anti roll bars)
Which allow them to roll easier and have more wheel movement on ruff terrain.

My grandpa had a Green Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer. It had a brown interior like that. Only difference is that it had a 5.0L V-8 Windsor Engine.

cody underwood A lot of the vehicles are mods. All the Gavril, Ibishu, Civeta, and Bruckel cars are stock cars that come with the game.

YBR, I don't know if its just me but i'm kinda getting sick of the whole drive around crash a little and crash into another car on the grid map. Do the half pipe or the short off road test at high speeds, no offense, you make good vids, but maybe think about it.

Maybe the Roamer is just a Gavril D Series truck with a roof thrown onto it and some seats in the back - but of a newer model of the D series truck.
Maybe we'll see a new D series truck at some point, if only as a mod.

How do you re-position the car to it's reset location but without renewing the vehicles damage? :)
Louise G To move the car into a specific position without repairing it you first need to hold SHIFT and click the C key to be able to move the camera around freely with WASD. Once you find the location you want to place the car hit F7 on your keyboard to place it there. If you press F7 without moving the camera first it will usually go to the place you started at on the map.

Trey Blanford Hit J to freeze physics, hold the accelerator on one truck, hit tab, hold the accelerator on the second one, hit J to unfreeze physics. Both should take off at exactly the same time.

WhyBeAre. Its me again. I think it shoulden't be considered a truck or anything at all. I think that they didn't try to make it similar cause if you put a roof and some walls in the back of that truck it looks nothing like that. I wonder if it was ment to be a clone but with just a roof on the back. I'd like to have that game and make vehicles as well.
