My wife and I saw you filming in Rockland. I said, "There's a UA-camr." Was not a subscriber but this video just came up on my feed. Glad to see the Midcoast of Maine highlighted. Great video.
So fun! The duck hat is actually not a duck, but a loon! They make a really beautiful, nostalgic call and are very, very Maine. :) Always so excited for your Maine vlogs, it is such a special place!
I LOVE your channel! I love how you include everything, from get ready with me, organizing, home decorating, party planning, shopping, cooking, travel, etc. I am going to have to look into those pans, we desperately need new pans.
Watching michel rediscover her love and passion for food while also healing difficulties with food that she had in the past while dealing with her divorce honestly makes me emotional, im so proud of how far she has come and seeing her growth overall is so amazing and im so proud of her! Im happy crying for Michel !!
walking your videos, brings me so much relaxation and peace after a long day of work and after the stress and hardships of life, I love being able to take some time and decompress and watch your new videos. Thanks for being such light 💛🥰
Love the detail shots of the always pan! All the little details you place into your videos are what set you apart! Love this casual travel vlog. I will be booking myself a solo adventure next year too - manifesting it here lol
This vlog makes me happy. I live in Maine and have been watching you for years! I love traveling but recently have decided to explore Maine more and do some in state “vacations”. I stayed in Rockport the same nights you were in Rockland and did so many of the same things you did. So it was really cool to see the places and almost relive my trip from earlier this month.
It’s nice to see you doing another SOLO trip Michel! Good seeing you comfortable travelling on your own! You are such a strong young woman! Keep it up! ❤️
Not a duck, it's a Loon. They have the best voice/calls. Very cool birds. My late father in-law was in the Loon Preservation Society on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. He would track and report nestings, births, activities.
You should come to Door County Wisconsin! Lots of quant towns, light houses, yummy food, wineries and cute places to stay! You can take a ferry to Washington island too to see one of the most beautiful rock beaches!
I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU WERE HERE!!! I live and work in downtown Camden, my parents saw you and didn’t know who you were and only just told me when they saw this video pop up! Ran here to watch the video. So sad I missed you Michel, I would’ve loved to meet you😭
My great uncle Joshua Ingraham put the flag on Mt. Batty. They lived on Mountain Ave. My grandparents are buried in the Mountain Grove cemetery. I really enjoyed your video.
So fun! Love Maine…was there in October and bought a Sea Bag!! Also got a good laugh when speaking with a tour guide in Boston… told him what a great time we had in Maine and he said “you know what us Bostonians call people from Maine don’t you? “ Mainiacs 😂 Great Vlog!!
We just took a driving tour up North in Michigan. Although Lake Michigan is not an ocean, it still looks like it! With all the cottages and mansions, Fall colors on the trees, small Coastal towns, and the lake as a back drop, it looks a lot like the East Coast. I also think you and Jordy would like Mackinac Island.
Hey Michel...I grew up in Duluth Minnesota and I think you should do some research and check.out the North Shore of Lake Superior in the fall. I know you'd love Grand Marais Minnesota and Split Rock lighthouse on the way. The colors are incredible and breath taking views along the way. No lobster unfortunetly. And the Loon..not a duck on that cap...is our state bird. Check it out and let me know what you think. Don't love there anymore...but always in my heart!
I was thinking the same thing as I was watching this. I'm from Wisconsin but I love the North Shore for hiking. I'd love to see her do a Midwest solo vlog!
Such a beautiful video. I don’t know if it is only me, when I watch your videos is like I’m there too, I live the moment. Thank you for sharing I truly enjoy them all🥰 God bless 🙏
The main thing is to keep the Maine thing the main thing. 🤪 Thanks for taking us along on such a fun trip. Wish I had your courage to solo travel. That would be so fun! Camden and Owls Head were my favorite virtual stops.
Do it, solo travel is amazing. I’m in the uk. And I’ve done it loads, Russia, Poland, Jersey and Guernsey, France etc, it’s very liberating. Even if it’s not too far just book a weekend away and spend time doing things just for yourself ❤❤❤❤
I watch all your videos but rarely comment- but awwww I loved watching this so much! My sister lives in rockland (she was married on Mount Battie!) and you went to so many of my favorite spots! I’m always counting down the days until my next visit there. My husband is from Vermont so I’m extra excited for part 2!
It was fun exploring ME with you. I live in NH and vacationed in the camden ME area in August of 2020. We explored that same light house and state park too. Happy to see you are enjoying your solo trip. Looking forward to watching the VT vlog.
I am from New England, the north shore of Massachusetts. I’ve spent lots of my life vacationing in Maine and New Hampshire. It’s so fun to watch you romanticize something so familiar to me. I also chuckled to myself when you said you felt like you were not in the United States, because last week my husband and I were in California and drove the pacific coast highway. I said to him “I feel like we are not even in the United States” so hilarious how we have different impressions of what the States look like on opposite coasts. Thank you for always making such heartfelt beautiful content. I first started following you in 2021 and I haven’t missed a post since! ❤️
This is such a true comment! I'm from Michigan and have lived in socal for 9 years now. At first, I felt like I was on vacation, but now when I see fall on the east coast, I'm like super jealous and don't believe I used to live there!
True, true!!! I grew up in SoCal, and now live in Boston. ❤ I love both for different reasons. I love having seasons after not having any for the first 25 years of my life!!!!
I am Canadian and live 25 minutes from the US border into Calais Maine and we love Camden Maine , my husband and I have visited a few times over the years. A friend of ours also loved Camden she actually named her son Camden and he just turned 21 last week. Maine is a beautiful , we always love visiting as we did two days ago we took a quick little trip to Bangor Maine!!
Maine is now on my bucket list!!😁 It looks beyond gorgeous and peaceful! Thank you for sharing your trip! P.S. you always have the best music playing in your videos! ❤
I wonder what red dress you picked out? That is going to be such a fun concert with your girls. Loved seeing filled with joy and wonder as you explore a place so near and dear to your heart. ♥️
Hope I don’t get attacked by this comment- lol. I’m originally from MA and have lived in NH for the past 10+ years. 48 years old. I would give my right arm to live where YOU live in CA. Of course, this is coming from someone who is beyond tired of the LONG, NEVER ENDING winters. Try visiting New England in April and tell me how much you love the mountains of black, gritty snow not even close to melting in the parking lots. No thanks- I’ll take CA any day.
I have live in NH my whole life. I am right there with you. I will be 40 next year and in the next few years I am out of here. I can’t do the long drawn out winter anymore. My depression gets so bad
@@Kelly-sunflower, SAME!! A big reason I watch her channel (and others who live in warmer climates) is because I dream of escaping. It’s funny how one person’s version of paradise is another person’s version of hell.
Such spectacular views! I think we are kindred spirits as I also love lighthouses and water views. It just speaks to my soul. Such a great trip! Thanks for sharing.❤
Love your travel vlogs - always fun and interesting and I am not disappointed- great as usual❤ Maine is beautiful and I’m glad that you had an enjoyable trip🤩Safe travel 🧳 to Vermont and I hope you enjoy your time there - it is a beautiful state also with gorgeous towns and scenery 🍁🧡🍂🦃 Winters are usually very cold 🥶 and snowy in both states so lucky your going in the fall 👍‼️
I won a SeaBags Poland Springs collab bag probably 5 years ago and I have been hooked since. It’s still the only thing I have ever won 😂. Also the cooler Maine flag did not pass. And that loon hat is sooooo cute!
Michel, I keep commenting this on so many places but you HAVE to come to Michigan!!! We have the most lighthouses out of every US state (over 120!) 5 lakes, gorgeous beaches, beautiful hikes up north, tons of cute beach towns!! Plleeaasseee come to Michigan! 💕😁😁
Just an FYI I bought a pot and pan and am looking forward to it, but because of the sale that's going on they don't allow an additional promo code. Not a complaint, the sale is great; just wanted to let you know.
I don’t know if you have ever seen Amazing Vacation Rentals but there was an episode where they showed where you can actually stay over in the lighthouse and it just made me say Michel would love that. The fluffy dog cows are called highland cows.
Ahh Michel!! I love this so much and you are such an inspiration to me. Thank you for always showing up for us and being so real. I’ve been loving all the travel vlogs but I can’t wait for the homey vlogs again! You are such a ray of sunshine and down to earth. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕

I also created a knitting a knitting pattern for a mini sweater ornament featuring the Maine flag and will give it to my son and his fellow teachers as a St Nick’s gift
I'm sure by now you're sad to know they didn't vote the flag in. As you'll know, us New Englanders don't like change... I guess! Also, I absolutely love Owl Head lighthouse...
