- Town exited the FA Cup to eventual winners Arsenal after an entertaining game at Portman Road. Chris Kiwomya gave Town the lead after a goalmouth scramble, but Tony Adams equalised with a far-post header. Arsenal then went into a 3-1 lead after a penalty from Ian Wright and a Phil Whelan own goal. Bontcho Guentchev scored his fifth goal in the competition to make it 3-2, but Kevin Campbell made sure of the win for the visitors. Footage features post-match interviews with George Graham and John Wark.
Had this Game on VHS, had recordet it live, and used to watch it from time to time, that was before the Internet, so i had werry little from ARSENAL. Used to see one live game each Week in those days, so you cherished the little you had of ARSENAL.
