I think the pothos under is very cool. I have to say, my favorite was Jacob’s heavily planted tank. My 6 gallon is filled with plants and I have Chili and Phoenix Rasboras that I got from you. I also have an Assassin snail who makes an occasional appearance, and a few (not sure of the exact count) Amano Shrimp. They’re from Flip Aquatics, too. I have kept Amanos for about 14 years. First in my Betta’s 10 gallon tank, then in a 37 gallon community tank. I live in Pittsburgh, PA. When I moved here five years ago I only had my Anubias that I bought for my Betta back in 2010. I bought the 6 gallon for the Anubias. Then I got a few Rasboras from my local fish store. They didn’t do very well. At that point, I had found you guys and I drove up to get my Rasboras, Amanos and Assassins. You all were great! Anyway, my tank isn’t really something to show off. I have lots of algae on the glass and the plants are a bit of a jumble. I haven’t cleaned off the algae because the Amanos love to eat it. My fishies love the plant jumble, it gives them places to hide and play. I have a filter; it’s part of the lid. The water gets drawn up into the filter, and then trickles down from a perforated pipe on top. I rarely change the water. I test it, and it’s always good. If someone saw my tank they would think it’s a mess, but my fish, Amanos and Assassin are doing well and seem happy. So I just keep things the way they are. As much as I’d love another tank, I know I can’t do that right now. When I can, I’ll be coming up to get my critters. (If you guys are cool with that. 😊)
Thanks for the feature! Love seeing all the cool tanks!
