Finally someone build a model of my favorite plane without making it look like it's about to off apart or explode any second now. Thank you for building a awesome looking model and for not having it look like garbage. You're my new favorite model kit builder now so please keep up the amazing work and I will keep coming back to watch you.
This kit looks amazing and everything is so well engineered and fits like a dream, lightyears ahead of the ancient 1/48 Fujimi F-4E kit I'm currently dealing with. A big, big difference between 1970 and 2021 molding technology!
That was a superb build on a very iconic aircraft, excellent attention to detail, and I have to admit, I never tire of these F4 build, you have yourself another follower/subscriber. Keep safe and well.
She's a looker, alright. Great job- and always nice to find a new channel. Gonna go check out your other videos, and looking forward to your next one. Enjoy your day.
Just finally got this kit, and boy it’s probably the best phantom kit on the market PERIOD, the level of detail but also the level of just engineering that we all come to love from Tamiya makes this great the DREAM, well worth the 170 I payed for it, worth every damn penny EDIT: I was in canada when I wrote this, and my Hobby shop charged 170 for it. Pretty dumb but it is what it is.
Yhea, but it depends on what kit are. Especially tamiya new tool is almost no need for filling. Nevertheless, we choose sometimes bad fit kit, because the whole shape is good :)
Can you please guide me which wash colour should I use for: (a) Fighter aircrafts' panel lines (b) Under carriage (c) WW2 aircrafts (British Spitfires) (d) F-16 (grey scheme) (e) C-130 (Grey scheme) (f) Jet engines And while cleaning the extra wash, whether the qtip is to be soaked in water or thinner... New to this, so would be grateful if you can please guide..
Why don't you start with black color? If you use water based color, you can use water. However, every paint has proper thinner, even though acrylic color ;)
Thank you for sharing, i enjoyed your high Quality video and learned a lot! Nee subscriber Here! I was wondering, hoe do you choose between a black primer for the fuselage and paint between the panel lines white or use a grey primer and paint the panel lines black? What software do you use to edit your video’s and where do you get the Music from. It Goes well with the video. Thanks in advance!
Are you putting that tamiya cement directly on the painted plastic or did you remove some paint first? It looks like you are putting on painted parts. If so, thats great.
Sometimes or not I know it's weak to adhesion after painting, but when it's hard to paint after glueing, I have no choice but to spill the thin cement😔
Nice build with a very good result. My only critique would be to slow the video down. Cut some stuff out to keep your time frame if you have to, but the speed you have it set at is too fast. If I was epileptic, this would give me a seizure :)

I would like to see some Usmc aircraft’s 👍🏻

Outstanding job. You have a lot of patience for this. My first time watching. Enjoyed what I saw.
Great Job! Liked the weathering technique.
BTW, I really want to go to Disneyland now.

이번 팬텀도 역시 만듦새도 멋지고, 보기 좋습니다.
항상 열심히 시청중입니다.
행복한 연말 보내세요 :)
Well done, absolutely nice job. The best Phantom-Kit I've ever seen.
このファントム…カッコいいですよね…
Very good intro, vídeo AND build!! 👍👍👍

I think Tamiya is legend from the past. Anyway, there is no more young boy who likes scale model… that is so sad thing. I’m ledgend, and you are.
Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, must be an F-4B.😁 Nice build, mate.👍
Nice job 👍
Lovely finish 😉
Excellent work, looks outstanding!
Black basing and then pre shading?
I painted it again to emphasize the panel line.😁
What clear mfg do you use? I always seem to have bad reaction between decal setting solution & clear coat. Nice job!
Absolutely brilliant! What fantastic work, the best I’ve seen. Great skills 👍
That’s a very handsome looking Phantom you’ve made there 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻 ....... Subscribed!
Nice build, just to remind you they paint the edges of undercarriage doors red. As a warning to the maintenance crew that the doors are open.
ファントムの実戦記録が戦後史の地図かもなぁー💥
Great work 👍
Awesome work .
Excellent work!!
Beautiful!
Beautiful work, a real artist. BTW when is Revell coming out with the 1/48 scale SR-71 jet?
Awesome 👍🇳🇿
Nice build. You would think Tamiya would pre cut the stencils for what you pay for the kit!
ikr And why not seatbelts.
Nice!!
No trouble getting the infamous ultra thick tamiya decals to settle into the panel lines?
Using decal softner is helpful😁
@@MODELBOX1 That's what I would do. But I've seen so many people rant about how these specific decals are useless.
Having to clean the airbrush is the only reason I don't paint more often. Can we get some kind of instant or one step cleaning tool, please?
There is no easy way to clean airbrush easily. Check instruction manual and you have to paint as many part as you can at one time.😔
🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👏⭐🌟💟😁😀 that's a nice looking jet. I like F-4 Phantoms awesome jets different air forces. Nice work on this jet.
it looks like you did not put the starters the from of the engines before you fitted them into the intakes?
Exactly! I realized that after gluing air intakes 😔
How much time do you spend sanding parts and hiding seams? I seem to spend half my build time sanding and filing.
Yhea, but it depends on what kit are. Especially tamiya new tool is almost no need for filling. Nevertheless, we choose sometimes bad fit kit, because the whole shape is good :)
Awesome build! So much detail and it all comes together in the end, very nice. What is that wire stand you hold the model with, it looks so useful.
Thanks! Wire stand is Tamiya SPRAY WORK PAINTING STAND.🙂
I think its interesting that people still use Tamiya paints when citadel paints work just as well
I think what paint brand use depends on how easy to get it. When I was young, I hunger to get proper color but it does not import.😔
Nice build! Where did you get that, what appears to be, wet palette for the decals??
You can get from aliexpress.
Search keyword is ‘water sticker tool’.
I see you paint some parts before assembly (ejection seat). Doesn't the paint prevent the glue from gluing the pieces together?
Of course, paint interferes with attachment, but it’s not a big deal unless it’s the big part.
Did you use the x20a thinner when you airbrush
I used Mr.Color lacquer paint for fuselage, so I used Mr.color’s thinner 😁
Did you also use a thinner when you airbrushed the cockpit?
Yes, I will dilute it unconditionally. But Cockpit mixes less.
Thank you
excellent😍
Curious. How come you did not paint the intake fans a metallic color?
I made a few mistakes when I assembling the air intake part. I might have been distracted.😔
@@MODELBOX1 lol! It happens to the best of us!
Can i ask which model of air brush did you have used?
I use HARDER & STEENBECK 0.2mm 😁

I use fina lcut pro😁
What airbrush do you use?
I use H&S Infinity.
what model stand do you use?
@@jarrodsmyth5601 It’s TAMIYA spray-work
Stunning build! Sorry for as asking... main grey cammo was FS 36231 or FS 16440 or 36440? I think video says Dark Gull grey 36231...
I use 36231 (317) for main grey 🙂

@@MODELBOX1 thank you so much for the reply. I love your videos and your channel. I am learning a lot.
The final music tells, you are in love with your Phantom, ha? 😉 ...sexy curves. I am jalous! Great work!
Turn your music volume down.
👍👍👍

Thanks for your advice. I'm not used to editing videos, but I'll study more.🙂
annoying music but great build
Unfortunately, I prefer videos with someone actually speaking.
Thanks for your advice
Nozzles are painted bad
Amazing work.
