I feel like this game wasn't really prepared for me because i've grinded jobs as soon as the dungeons opened so i got to Amon thinking he was kind of an appetizer. Got really disappointed when i've found out that this was it and that doing all substories didn't unlocked a "true fight"
@@cmdrjanjalaniI started the fight just targeting the fight cuz i sorta guessed he could resurrect the others. But then a few minutes in I thought "Hey, this is the last Amon vs Kiryu fight ever, do i really wanna win like this?" Then thought "Were gonna break them down, piece by piece." Thr plan was to get them all down to enought health where a strong attack would down em in one hit, and save Amon for last. Then they started tag teaming my ass and beat me twice before winning, but by god was it more fun doing it this way.
At least not revived at 100% HP, at least for me personally l! I oh no’ed when he did then focus-fired on Jo. Being a few levels over the Amon crew probably helped a bit!
One theory I have is that because the Amon fight takes place inside the dungeon, the final dungeon boss fight theme plays instead of Amon’s theme. Or I could be dumb and it was intentional idk 🤷♂️
@@loudvoices101 That's exactly what happens, but considering that Amon always had his signature theme throughout the franchise and even the last game(spoiler) at the top of the Millennium Tower Dungeon had it I don't know what happened with this one, especially since there are multiple different themes they use with the dungeons, so I'm wondering what stopped them from using a different theme in this fight. Whether or not it was intentional we'll probably never know.
I think Yakuza Kiwami 2's version would've been a good choice as well. The dramatic music fits with the fact that this is perhaps the last time Kiryu fights Jo.
I think it’s supposed to imply Jo is also Shin, just changing himself a bit for the new generation of targets (it’d make sense as to why he seemed to work alongside Kiryu in the True Final Millenium Tower in 7)
I like to believe that Jo just copied Shin's haircut and now they both look extremely alike. And while Shin absolutely hates it and feels embarrassed, Jo feels estatic nothing but joy at the fact that he looks exactly like Shin 😂

Ever since they've went RPG every Amon could easily be cheesed by just being overleveled than he is, so it just says that you've spent lots of time dungeon crawling rather than having actual skill at the game
It’s even easier than 7’s, and he was by themselves. To be honest, I missed the insanely cheap gimmick Amon does every time. This time was just a plain revive which was very easy to handle
7's "base" amon fight (non-true final millennium tower) is probably easier than this. Gaidens is fairly easy, albeit pretty annoying, so long as you get the gimmick. Kiwami 2's is by far the easiest though because of the sheer damage output you can have
there is on the Modding server but as a huge caveat it makes all major bosses in the underground use Warriors' Bond as the mod just replaces that track instead of configuring the game's files to specifically play it during this fight

I was beating this guy's ass until he resurrected one of the other Amons and they started doing combo attacks and tag team moves on me
He'll resurrect all the "dead" Amons actually. I made the mistake of leaving him last just for that to happen.
Thats why i defeated jo amon first before the others
you can block that with awaken Brawler perfect guard

But yeah it is stupid why the ACTUAL Amon fight didn't get this OST.

what makes the amons that high level?
You mean why Amons are lvl 96? because this is on Legend difficulty, while on Normal their lvl 55.

Probably not, because I just recorded it by turn off the music and then edited the OST in, like on this video
