Mate. I love you. I love the track. I love the new finish. For the love of all that is holy…please…put this and Salen on Spotify. They’re amazing tracks and I demand to listen to them on repeat as much as any other Plini tracks 🤣🤣 In all seriousness, much love from Melbourne. Keep on producing Aus’ best music.
Proof that melody is always most important. Plini can play damn near anything at any speed but he chooses these long expressive notes, wringing them for every drop of musicality.
That intro sounds like something from Periphery 1. Gave me heavy Racecar vibes. This track rips! Love the balance of technicality and melodic songwriting.
1:12 how do you call that picking technique again?(pd:i know how to do it im just really bad with names) and yup that crispy plini lead tone always sounds so great
@@Dragonmastersservant 100%! Cant seem to really get into his recent stuff. It sounds super creative, but not something an average non-musician like me can get into
I had seen a guitar the other day, it was at a pawn shop. I asked the man, where was this made? He said it was forged in the fires of Hell and that Jesus saved it. It did have a roasted maple neck...so that much must be true. That got me wondering, could this music video be the second coming of christ, considering that Jesus saved that Ibanez Gio GRX20Z Electric Guitar. So after further investigation I finally learned the pentatonic scale with the intention of contacting the Devil and returning his rightful axe. Building a guitar from scratch is a rewarding process that combines woodworking, electronics, and fine craftsmanship. Here’s a step-by-step guide: 1. Planning and Design Choose the type of guitar: Decide whether to make an acoustic or electric guitar. Design the shape: Create or select a body shape and headstock design. Select materials: Body: Typically alder, ash, mahogany, or maple. Neck: Maple or mahogany. Fingerboard: Rosewood, ebony, or maple. Top wood (for acoustics): Spruce or cedar. Determine scale length: Common lengths are 25.5" (Fender style) or 24.75" (Gibson style). Gather hardware and electronics: Tuners, bridge, pickups, nut, fret wire, potentiometers, switches, and strings. 2. Preparing the Body Cut the body blank: Trace the design onto a wood blank. Use a bandsaw or jigsaw to cut out the shape. Rout cavities (electric): Use templates to rout spaces for pickups, control knobs, and tremolo systems. Carve the body (optional): Add contours or bevels for comfort. Drill holes: Create holes for neck mounting, controls, and string-through-body designs. 3. Crafting the Neck Select the neck style: Bolt-on, set-neck, or through-neck. Shape the neck blank: Cut out the neck and headstock shape from the wood blank. Truss rod installation: Rout a channel for the truss rod and install it. Attach the fingerboard: Glue the fingerboard to the neck and clamp securely. Install fret markers: Drill and inlay dots, blocks, or custom designs. Fret the fingerboard: Cut, install, and level fret wire. Shape the neck: Carve the neck profile using rasps, files, and sandpaper. 4. Assembly Attach the neck to the body: Bolt, glue, or fit the neck joint depending on the design. Sand the guitar: Use progressively finer grits of sandpaper for a smooth finish. Finish application: Apply a sealer, stain, or paint. Use lacquer, polyurethane, or oil for the final protective layer. Allow sufficient curing time and polish to a shine. 5. Electronics (Electric Guitars) Wire the components: Solder pickups, potentiometers, and switches according to the wiring diagram. Install hardware: Attach tuners, bridge, strap buttons, and input jack. Shield cavities: Use conductive paint or foil to reduce hum. 6. Setup and Final Adjustments Install the nut: Shape and slot the nut for the strings. Attach strings: String up the guitar and tune to pitch. Adjust the truss rod: Set neck relief to ensure proper action. Set intonation: Adjust the bridge saddles to ensure accurate pitch along the fretboard. Fine-tune the action: Adjust string height for playability. Test electronics: Verify that all switches and pickups function properly. 7. Finishing Touches Polish the guitar for a professional look. Test play to ensure comfort and sound quality. Make any final tweaks to the setup.

That must be one of the coolest looking guitars Ive ever seen
Yeah, but when you start playing it too hard, it draws too much current which starves everything else on the circuit. Watch what happens at 1:05 😉
