Tom Brady was so calm under pressure. The final drive in SB XXXVI, as a 2nd year rookie, was masterful. He started 10-0 in the playoffs with 3 SB wins!!!
Brady was in 10 SBs. If you extrapolate those 10 games to a 17 game season, he had 36 TDs, 10 picks, and 5150 yards. Rating of 97, right around his career average. Winning percentage of .700, which is slightly below his career winning percentage. When you play the SB, you're playing the best team from the other conference, and to go 7-3 is pretty good. Is it better than Montana's 4-0? Of course it is. - just getting to play in 6 more is special, and overhyping the perfect record punishes Brady for going 10-4 in conference championships. What sportsman would rather be in 4 and win 4 than compete in 10?
I would just add that He was at the top for 20 years in general. And that it will never will be repeated.
Those are flat out insane stats considering every game was played against the one of the top 2 teams in the league.
I'll add that he went to 3 SBs in 4 years at the start of his career, winning all three, and then he went to 5 SBs in 7 years towards the end. Seriously - seven years and he missed only two SBs, going 4-1 and throwing for 505 yards in the one loss.
Same applies to lebron. When he made it to the finals in 2007 & losing to the spurs, basically the patriots of the nba.. (greatest dynasty in the modern era) they bring up this narrative that mj never lost in the finals as if losing b4 the finals/sb is supposed to be better than.
@loudy12 what's LeBrons record in the finals? He basically the Buffalo bills of the NBA. Don't compare GOAT Jordan and Brady to LeFlop
Aside from physical talents, it's Tom's ability to control his emotions in different or difficult situations
Dude threw tantrums all the time
@@All5Horizons I'm sorry my comment wasn't meant for you. Throwing "tantrums " and being poised under pressure are not the same.
I wasn’t aware that your public comment on a public platform had a specific audience in mind.
You’re right, they’re not the same thing. That’s entirely the point.
@@All5Horizons it didn't appear in writing that you were making the difference known. I am probably wrong in thinking you were just talking about his temper when things don't go right. My apologies
Tom learned that from Mike Ditka.
The Bounty advertisement was on point.
Sean Payton would be proud.
What i'm involved in, is nowhere near high profile or as intense as the pressure you would face in a SB, as an elite qb. But, having been in very high pressure situations professionally - Tom's calmness, in my opinion comes down to a few things aside from a naturally calm personality. Preparation plays a huge part. You prep so much, study so much, have considered all the angles and possibilities that when it's go time, things become kinda muscle memory and automated. Another thing is trust. You have to trust your teammates so much that you are willing to risk that big throw, or gamble, whatever and trust the result on the other end.
I'm not in sports but a team-based professional environment where successful big moments come down to team prep, personal conviction, and a ton of "studying".
I remember one crazy TB stats that he has a much higher % to go to a superbowl than Steph Curry to down a 3
From my sidelines, Brady made everyone a team player. If everyone is playing 100%, the stars will shine. But if superstars get all goofy, it’s about me, it’s all about me catching that great pass, you erode team cohesiveness. That does not mean you don’t celebrate, but you know it was not all about you. When you were on the field, game or practice, you played your A game. Other teams trusted raw talent, Brady’s team developed it to its fullest.
Hi Julian, this is a bit off topic but I just spilled coffee, milk and coffee grounds all over my kitchen counter and floor, and I was wondering if there were any paper products you'd recommend to help clean it up. I'm particularly interested in something durable and absorbent but also providing good value. Anyway sorry for the random question, any help appreciated.
You were really hoping he’d like or comment 😂
I feel like given the product name, you should ask Sean Payton
Bot be gone
Great job on the marketing placements. Every shot framed, without it being obnoxious. Maybe the one on the middle may be a little larger than it needs to be in the frame, but still good.
Who cares? That's the way of the World nowadays
@@antonchigurh7227 I suggest a suicide watch for Mahomes 9th superbowl win. Your life seems to revolve around one game managing overrated QB.
I was distracted by the bounty plugs haha
He is the best because football is a TEAM sport.
Tom Brady's ability of turning cheap slot receivers into top play makers, his ability of making plays at critical times with cheap receivers had no match in NFL history.
*His abilities made it much much much easier for coaches and GM to build a SB contender.*
At least 50% if not 75% of the coaches would look like a genius with him.
Didn’t he lose the Super Bowl with Randy Moss?
@@All5Horizons His O-line was as bad as Mahomes's O-line against Bucs.
Do you blame Mahomes for the loss?
Um…three of his five offensive linemen were All-Pro that season.
@@All5Horizons Go rewatch the game.
With that line, it doesn't matter if a QB has both Moss and Jerry Rice.
Again, he had three All-Pro linemen. They went 17-0 with that line. Brady did not play well in that Super Bowl. It’s ok to accept that.
Love the joe montana t shirt. I need one
Love the Forrest Gump Nike's!
Hey team, can you gave me a link to buy patriots cap like Jules?
Tom Bradys Marriage Was Falling Apart and All He Did Was Win Another SB
To his point. Pittsburgh. 3 coaches and nothing but success
Rob riggle and big John McCarthy are the same guy lol. Same voice, same height and build, similar age, same face.
Bounty everywhere lol
Riggle was the best President of the Navy ever.
why does he sound like jason kelce😂😂
For some reason I think I need to buy bouaty paper towels
What about Bill, when his dad died he didn't tell anyone until after the game. They had won and after the game he said he coached with a heavy heart as his dad passed the day/night before.
Bounty
Product placement??
Nice jersey bro...did you get two jabs like Kelce told you to or just the one?
Normal person translation: I"ve gone absolutely crazy, all I think about is vaccines!
@@jeffreyoa8628democrats think they’re normal…. Hmmm 🤔
Hahaha Mr Pfizer! He sold his soul
Nice ego bro, did you come by it because you're inadequate or still in the closet?
The best cheaters in town..Lol!
All 32 teams have cheating scandals.
Yep, blame everyone else when you're in denial..lol!!@@Dennis-nm1jm
The extra tape Tom got to watch with Bill. That's what made Tom great.
jets jets jets? amirite?
Funny how other 1st round/1st pick overalls Kosar ,Testaverde and Bledsoe were a disaster with Belichump. Damn Belichick sure made Brady great *.437 Win%* in 140 career games when Brady isn't his starting QB
poor jets fan- well you'll always have a drunk Joe "I WANNA KISSSYOU" Namath to represent you!
@antonchigurh7227 Bledsoe took the Pats to a superbowl hahaha 😆 WATCH ANOTHER SPORT.
Mahomes is already better than Brady.
Let's stop talking about Brady and move on. Losers!!!!
Tom Brady was good. He was not great.
Bwahaha, good one 😂
Thanks! Figured it was time someone finally said it.
@@All5Horizons whoosh!
Right, what do those dumb NFL players know about football anyway?
@@SeanFication I'm sure they know quite a bit about football. Doesn't mean they're always right.
It's easier to play QB when you know the other teams' signals.
It's a lot easier for a team to win when they're wide receivers has stick'um on their gloves (Jerry Rice)
And that explains how he threw for an NFL Best (over 3 years) 14,600 yards and 110 TD's at age 43-45 in Tampa
This is the point where i just made you look like an idiot (With Ease)
