The thing with the two cops was what was shown in the All Eyez on Me movie, they sort of oversimplified it. The car almost hitting the two cops were the reason they were beating him in the drive way, 2Pac said he only got out of the car to tell them to break it up and move out of his cars way. One of the cops then drew a gun on him and told him to get back in his car, 2Pac then lifted up his shirt showing the fact that he had a pistol on him too and told him something along the lines of "Nigga, I'm Thug Life you're going to need to aim higher than that to stop me". The cop then shot at him and hit his car so he crouched into a firing pose and as the two cops ran he fired at them but they kept running so everyone thought he'd missed them.
They all then went out to a party and everyone was joking about how he "missed" etc, It was the next day when he found out he had an arrest warrant out on him for shooting two police officers.

I saw someone recommend the documentary Tupac: Resurrection, but I have to say that Thug Angel: Life of an Outlaw is much better in my view. It was the first documentary made after he died & unlike Resurrection it is A) Available here on UA-cam ua-cam.com/video/RlKJdbJtHdE/v-deo.html [in English & in full.] B) Much more about who Tupac was as a person, not simply a perfunctory little background bio followed by the evolution of his music career. And, anyone who thinks that people who admires Tupac & speaks so highly of him does so simply because of his ability as a rapper doesn't know sh-t about him. It has always been as much, if not more so, about who he was & what he did outside of music.
I also want to clarify a bit about the shooting of the cops as they kind of just made it seem like he randomly shot 2 cops after almost hitting them which is not what happened. Now, the agreed upon facts [i.e. the state of Georgia investigators & Tupac all agree to,] was that the 2 cops were drunk & the guns they had with them were guns *stolen* from the evidence locker at their precinct. Where they disagree is that the 2 cops said Tupac almost hit them which led to an argument which then escalated into violence. The state of Georgia initially charged Tupac for shooting them & charged 1 of the cops for shooting at Tupac's car & also lying to the police. Tupac & those that were with him that night said that the cops were either harassing or assaulting [some say 1 thing & some others say the other,] an African American person [a female in the harassing version if I remember correctly & a male in the assault version,] which led to Tupac intervening which led to the argument which escalated & one of the cops shot first & then Tupac shot back.
So, who knows what really happened, but like I said everyone agreed that the 2 cops were drunk & they had guns which they had stolen & which were evidence in other crimes. The state dropped charges against everyone & that fact I think is more telling than anything else & I think points pretty strongly as to which side was more in the right. A state not charging someone [a black man at that,] for *shooting 2 cops,* is pretty f-cking incredible.

All Eyez on Me is mediocre at best. Lots of made up stuff, like the thing with Jada Pinkett. I'd also take the portrayal of Suge and Pac with a grain of salt. Resurrection was a much much better movie.
I agree Totally, his own family didn’t want that movie out. Let’s be honest here the people he didn’t even like, and played their part in his death (puffy the dancer) got first hand in watching the movie and giving their approval. The movie had all the wrong people involved.

I don't agree with that bootleg thing. That man clearly needed money, and he was black. Tupac should have let it slide, he always talked about supporting the poor black community, but then wants to tear this man down over a silly tape? That tape won't take ANY money away from Tupac, even if it did, it would be such a small portion that he wouldn't even notice, but a few of those tapes sold could have fed that man and his family for a week. It may not be funny but Suge was actually joking around how Eazy-E died. Many people that know him say that’s just his personality and it comes across really bad. ayeitsnoura its alright, the media and the conspiracies theories made it out like Suge Knight was out to get Tupac. He may have stiffed him in millions but they were big brother little brother. Watch the real interview of that scene ,it’s either from MTV or Much Music. It was only a couple mins long but it was Tupac at his realist. Listen who he cursed out on national television back then, I mean it was unheard of....gutsy. Look at the date of the interview......he was shot in Vegas on September 7th, 1996.
