Hello, I just wanted to come back and thank everyone for 10K views! I never expected any of my videos to have this kind of attraction and hope every one enjoys the video!
This looks like the introduction scene in a movie, with Sonic giving exposition on the context of the story and the names in the opening credits appearing each time he leaves the frame.
This feels like the beginning of a Sonic retrospective before it starts talking about the lead up to Sonic 1 and everything that’s be kickstarted since
we never really get to see how fast sonic is moving when the camera is following him, but having it be anchored still in the world and seeing him go through it really shows how fast he's actually going.

I mean, most gmod videos I have seen share the same rules with the camera only being in a locked position (the only Gmod video I have seen is SMG4 3 years ago)
This also adds to my head canon that most of the springs in Sonic are not their, there game mechanics to keep momentum, and Sonic is just wall jumping at blinding fast speeds.
While that’s a good head canon, unfortunately Sonic Frontiers disproves a lot of these ideas, as through out the game Sonic actually mentions the goal posts, rings, springs, and even the big special stage rings throughout Sonic 1, 3&K

What I really wanna is know is how're you able to let the game just play your own playback? Unless you were actually playing while doing those confusing angles...? In which case... WOW.
Great question! I am using the PC version of Sonic Generations (In particular steam) and am using an mod loader called the hedge mod manager. Now for the second question I am using a lot of graphical restoration mods and a free cam mod. That is what let’s me move the camera to my will
