    I have a different brand and I love it. You can also steam or warm up just about any food in that omelet bowl .

    I'm not exactly huge on eggs, but this definitely seems like it worked a charm. Glad you have a good hard boiled egg machine now for those fresh eggs! Great review! 🤗💜

    If a person eats a lot of eggs this is a must have. I've owned an egg maker like this for years. Otherwise you have to keep an eye on the pan of boiling water. This saves time and does a great job. Thanks for the review Jeff! Thumbs Up!

    I've had mine for quite awhile now, the heating element base (metal part) isn't non stick and you will have to clean it occasionally, but it doesn't appear to be a problem. I got mine at Wal-Mart for $14.88. It did come with a caveat that you will promise not to sue them if there's a problem, which I found sort of amusing. It works very well.

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  4 роки тому +1

      Good point about the base...I do have to clean it from time to time. Thanks for sharing your experience with this item. Have a great day.

Yea you can say I’m way late and I don’t really use my iPhone much because I hate it and can’t find my tablet! You need to pour the water in before you put the egg tray in so it will get all the water that is probably why it did not cook it's full time

    • @Jeffreviews4u

      This unit needs a little trial and error to get it right. Once the correct amount of water is discovered - it makes some delicious eggs. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

    I just got this today, based on lots of positive reviews I read. Cooked up 10 eggs, and ate 2 for lunch, and made the rest as deviled eggs for snacks for the fam. It wasn't super-easy to peel the eggs, but not too bad. After the eggs were finished, there was a very brown area on the metal surface, and (worse), it STUNK like crazy. I hadn't read anything about this. I hope that won't happen all the time. That smell was far worse than the boiled egg smell from boiling them.
    P.S. I used spring water, not tap water

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  4 роки тому +1

      I get the brown staining from time to time as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

      @NK-4628 4 роки тому

      *Edit*
      I used a bit of Lemi Shine citric acid descaler, and let it bubble away with water. It cleaned the brown area perfectly. The 2 egg trays both still really smell awful. Thankfully, the smell doesn't transfer to the eggs!

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  5 років тому +2

      Hard Eggs: (18-23 min)
      1-4 eggs 75ml/4.5 tsp. water**
      5-7 eggs 65 ml/4 tbsp. water
      7-14 eggs 75 ml/4.5 tbsp. water
      **the directions say that amount but I normal go with the 18 minutes. Im not sure if it was a misprint and should have been 55-60 ml.

    I guess it's a matter of choice. 6 minute omelet in the "Perfect?" Egg Maker or 2 minutes in a pan on the stove. 16 minute boiled eggs or 8 minutes on the stove!

    • @JK-zz4ip
      @JK-zz4ip 3 роки тому

      Do you have a magic stove? How do you boil water and cook eggs to hard boiled all in 8 minutes? Myself I do not own one of these, but I am curious if they do make peeling the eggs any easier. I've tried every trick on the internet and nothing works.

      @@JK-zz4ip I LOVE my Perfect Egg Maker! It’s the only way I hard boil eggs anymore. I’ve found that if you put the eggs in ice water soon after they are done and peel them while they are still a bit warm, they peel fantastically! I highly recommend this product! You have a great day! P.S. I tap each end and a side of the egg on the counter and they practically peel themselves! Enjoy!!
