BINI has expressed their support towards the LGBTQ community several timea. They even performed their hit songs in an LGBTQ--friendly bar with drag performers. Salamin, Salamin is quite an anthem among the LGBT. Actually, across all age bracket and gender here in the Philippines. They're quite the phenomenon, and that's quite a feat since K-pop is more popular herw, but I'm happy that we're supporting our homegrown talents now.
it's what i love from ppop! like you don't have to create the moment for them to profess their support, you don't have to ask them. because the idols themselves go to festivals and perform in support of the community. and it's not just for the community, they do so for the marginalized too.

I know Made For All is for a Maybelline collab but that song celebrates diversity in beauty. Unfortunate that it's for a brand but BINI still shows support to the community outside of the collab, so it's still very genuine.

i know its gonna be easy for you to understand tagalog coz we have so many spanish words too in our language.we were colonized by spain for more than 300 yrs thats why we have spanish names,spanish words,even culture similarities,we even have a province where they use spanish language called chavacano which is a spanish based creole.
yes we are very aware about this! i love being able to understand some of your words but hate that it’s because of colonization. 🥲
Not to mention, there are still a lot of old spanish families (old money) in the families who communicate in Spain-Spanish (emphasizing on “Spain” as there are a lot of difference from each Latino country Spanish. The obvious difference is pronouncing “c” as “th” as compared to “s.”)

And if you ever get around to boy groups, one called Alamat sings in multiple Filipino languages and they covered a local song called "Porque" that's in Chavacano, which is the only Spanish creole language in Asia. Y'all will be so weirded out and intrigued by how you can understand it!!

@@CaliforniaLuv84We also have broken Spanish here, it's called chavacano which is spoken in zamboanga, cavite and other places in ph but when it comes to influence of Spanish in Filipino languages ,bicol rank 2 or next to chavacano and followed by Bisayan languages and Tagalog.
Bisayan languages have more Spanish loan words than Tagalog itself. Some of relatives r still using Spanish in their everyday lives.
You'll be really happy to know that Bini is very, very gay friendly. They are one of the biggest ally in the Philippines, and unapologetically so. They also like play up the shipping in a super non-patronizing way. Just a great group of young women that will make a big difference in the Philippines and beyond.

BINI by far held the most number of members in a PPop group who are all excellent singers. Yet among them these are the Main Vocals’ Trinity: Jhoanna, Colet and Maloi. Maloi dished out that closer falsetto. Our sweet Maloi.. 😍
The last "tagalog" @ 1:26 was perfect btw. 'Tagalog' is what it's usually referred to but 'Filipino' is the modern and formal term for it.

@@CaliforniaLuv84 tagalog actually is the most specific way to call the language that Bini uses for their songs. Filipino is also correct but it’s a general term for all languages in the Philippines and not just Tagalog (that includes cebuano, ilocano, kapampangan and many many more)

And their Wish bus performances if you guys want to hear how great their vocals are. They're just overall performers! And really funny and down-to-earth queens. They've perform at a university pride concert before, drag bar, and was suppose to perform at the country's biggest pride event but it rained so hard they had to cancel the event. (they still sent their love and support through their social media accounts 😊)
1 thing you should know is that Bini loves the gays! They perform for LGBTQ+ crowds every now and then and are allies!

A little background about TAGALOG, most of our words are in Spanish because PH has been under Spanish colonization for about 300 years.
and some of the girls are huge fan of TWICE, Maloi's bias is JIhyo. Aiah like Mina and Gwen like Momo.
and we have a state in PH that speaks in full spanish.

Tagalog has few Spanish words in there. But I believe Cebuano (a central language in the PH) has more Spanish. Also, a language in the Southern PH has a Spanish-based Creole. The language is called Chavacano. We also call it sometimes as Broken Spanish.

We've picked up some Spanish over the years since we were colonized by Spain for over 300 years. Interestingly, there's a region in the Philippines that still uses a Spanish creole called Chavacano. We can actually count numbers in Spanish haha and some of the terms we use in our everyday lives are Spanish like lamesa, kusina (cosina), sapatos (zapatos), lapis (lapiz).
