- My Gear for 2 weeks on the GR20. Perhaps the hardest Hikingtrail in europe. 180km long with almost 12000m ascent.
RETROPERSPECTIVE: After hiked the Trail here the things i would change: Sleeping Bag: My Sleepingbag is rated T-lim: 0°C. I hiked the trail at the end of may. And we had only one really cold night. So if you hike the trail later in the summer, a lighter sleepingbag should do a good job as well. Stove: I would now go with a gas stove which you screw directly on the top of a gas canister. Even here i would go as light as possible. I use now the BRS Titanium stove and i am super happy with it. But don't forget a windshield! Gas Canisters are availiable on the island. If you want to go with a gasoline stove, figure out the amount of fuel you will need before. I heavily overestimated the amount of fuel i would need. I took a 0,5L fuel bottle and shared the stove with a friend for the whole 13 days! At the end i had still a bit of fuel left and my friend took another 0,5L fuel with him which we didn't even touched. GPS/ Maps: The GR20 is marked very good! Even in bad weather it will be hard to miss the trail. So i would not take the GPS device and the detailed Maps with me anymore. But a overview map of the whole trail can be usefull. Thanks for the video! Interesting comment about bringing too much gas. How often did you use it? Do you think maybe a 250g canister be enough for 1 person for 2 weeks if boiling water 2 or 3 times a day?

welche Stärke hat deine Tyvek Plane? g/m? gibt ja da ganz viele dicken.
hab die selbe Luftmatte und wie diese auch so schützen.

Vielen Dank! Ich weiß nicht welche Stärke das Tyvek hat. Ist jedenfalls nicht sehr dick und auch nicht wasserdicht. Habe es bei Modulor in Berlin gekauft und laut Website hat das einzige welches die dort Verkaufen 75g/m²
Erstmal gutes Video hat mir schon mal geholfen(Abo is drin) ich möchte nächstes Jahr auch den gr20 bewältigen ich wäre dann 18 und sportlich also im Prinzip kein Problem jedoch wüsste ich gerne wo die Tücken sind was muss ich beachten was man vllt wenn man nicht sehr erfahren ist als Wanderer (bin zwar Pfadfinder aber naja).
Außerdem wäre ein kostenüberblick hilfreich da es bis jetzt überhaupt nicht klar ist wie viel der ganze Spaß kostet

Wieviel dich das kostet kommt sehr darauf an wie du unterwegs bist. Kommst du ohne eigenes Zelt, kostet die Übernachtung in den Hütten im durchschnitt 14€. Ich würde aber davon abraten, da in der Hochsaison eh alle Hütten voll sind und immer wieder Berichte von Bettwanzen die Runde machen. Weiter hängt es davon ab ob du dein eigenes Essen mitbingst und wie du anreist.
Körperlich sollte man die nötige Kondition mitbringen denn ein Tag kann auch mal 8-10 Stunden lang sein und man ist ca. zwei Wochen unterwegs.
Ist schwer die Fragen kurz zu beantworten.

aufgrund eines danach stattfindenen lagers(Pfadfinder)
haben ich und mein Kollege uns dazu entschieden nur den südteil zulaufen.Zelt ist drin essen ebenfalls(soll echt scheiße teuer sonst sein). Ist ein gps-Gerät zwingend notwendig oder reichen die Karten?
