This accumulator bottle accumulate the water volume first and using the stored pressure of compressed air on top of the bottle to push the water out. This high volume of accumulated water + compressed air pressure will make this system works well

As you open the tap valve, the entire system will shaken due to compressed air escaping through the valve, pushing the water out and producing a temporary jetting effect until the system is fully filled with water..
The trick is in that the source pumps has probably high pressure and low flow rate. My old pump works like this. It is not enough flow for watering garden, but it would brake the connections if I block the outflow. The bottles work like a buffer it allows you high flow on high pressure for short time and then you need to wait for refill.
The nozzle in your hose made it possible, plus the added added pressure coming from the 2 plastic bottles . Even without the bottles, with that nozzle it will still be possible however it will not be that strong.
