Hi hon. Heard you mention that you want to make mulled wine for the holidays on your recent podcast. Former bartender here. One to two bottles of Cote de Rhône preferably but any full bodied red will work. 2 to 3 cinnamon sticks 1 to 2 tablespoons of whole clove 2 to 3 anise stars Pieces of orange Whole cranberries 1\4 cup of sugar for 1 bottle, 1\2 cup for 2 Put the small bits in one of those refillable tea bags Let the spices, fruit, wine, and sugar simmer on low for an hour. Add boiling water as it cooks down to replace evaporated water Fortify with brandy or whisky when ready to drink. All ingredients are as you like it. I add a lot of cinnamon and clove to mine. Sometimes apple or pomegranate juice instead of water to replenish evaporation. Also, a lot of whisky at the end to replace the alcohol that cooks out 😂 Cheers ! Thank you for your posts. Your podcasts help my adhd brain concentrate.
I’m so happy you’re on YT now!! ❤
