I can imagine how hard all of this is for you, and I understand how easy it is to feel guilty for not doing more than you do, even when you do as much as you can. My mother has been more or less a shut-in for the last couple of years, and I visit her three times a week, do her grocery shopping, etc. on one hand, I feel like I want to do more, but on the other hand, I do need time for myself. It’s hard to balance what you feel like you want to do and what you’re capable of doing, but it’s important to realize and accept your limitations, just for your own mental health. So don’t be hard on yourself, and don’t exhaust yourself to the point where you’re not able to do what you need to do.
Oh guys we know this all too well, please speak with MacMillan care line, we found it helped....its so stressful for all concerned, the good times will roll again soon, but the worry and anxiety can be all too much at times. We are with you both....
It’s lovely the way you looking after your mum but don’t forget to look after your self. When you go to the hospice take sandwiches or snaky biscuits don’t starve allday it’s a stress full thing you going thru .so eat
Last year was like this for me. Unfortunately I lost mum and I stopped uploading to my channel for a while. I still have lots of unedited footage to get through but it's one day at a time. You are doing remarkably well your lives have been turned upside down just make the most of everything you can. Wishing your mum and the whole extended family my best wished.
Hello Leigh and Nick.. Cancer is really rough and takes its toll on everyone.. I went through it with my Mum, Dad and brother. Sending Love, Hugs and Prayers for you, Your Mum and the rest of the family.. 😇🥰🙏
Sending you both and your mum all the love in the world. The love and devotion you are showing your mum is incredible and a beautiful thing, she is a very lucky lady to have you all in her life. Don't feel guilty for having time to yourselves, you need it to help her. Xxx
Please take care of yourselves and find time to rest and chill. You can't help care for someone without caring for yourselves first. Many families will relate to what you are going through including mine. Your vlogs will help others too. Sending you both lots of love.
My heart goes out to you both. As someone who has been through the same situation its unbelievably draining and totally understand that feeling of guilt when you try to make time for yourself. Just know that you are doing all that you can and sometimes you just need a little time to yourself to reset ❤ xxx
You are both on a Journey with your Mum. KEEP strong and be there for the moments that matter. YOUR love TOGETHER shines thru in this ADVERSITY. STAY STRONG. all our love and support. Steve & Anne G
If your mum has a fighting spirit and wants to do what she wants then good on her. Shes going to need that stubbourness to fight this horrid disease so good on her I hope shes as stubborn and belligerent as she wants to be ( must be where nick gets it 😘). You guys are so good when it comes to dropping everything for family - sending you all hugs xx
I’m sorry you are going through all of this with your mom. I had a similar situation many years ago when my mom went through chemo. It’s very hard to watch them struggle. You guys are doing a great job! On a lighter note, I am writing this comment from my room at Coronado Springs at Disney World. I hope I get to meet you sometime on a future trip!😍
Sending lots of love guys. I’ve been there with my own mum and dad and know how tough it is. Absolutely nothing you or anyone can do or say to make it any better. Somehow you just get your brain in a kind of auto pilot mode and you get through it. You’ve got each other to lean on and that’s something to be very grateful for. Take good care x
Hi guys feel for you both. My sister and I had this last year with my Mum and learnt that there's only so much you can do. As long as you've done as much as you can no one can ask for more and people will understand. You need to make time for yourselves between the visits to get some down time as hard as it seems and to just take a step back on occasions. Share the load as much as possible and find out about and make full use of all the help available in the carer system, they are amazing people. Our Mums one wish was not to go to hospital and we achieved this although it was so hard in the final couple of months and if you sadly eventually get to that stage that will be when you need to take a break from the channel for a length of time, no matter how prepared you are there is so much to do. Also the end was a kind of blessing as she was not really in much pain up to then. Sorry if this sounds a bit down just wrote what came to me. Love to you both
rhis is a terrible situation to be in and theres nothing anyone can do to help....look after yourselves and look after each other..make sure you eat well and at least try to sleep,,or at least lie down and let your bodies rest..you,ll be no good for mum if youre ill yourselves...thinking of you x
Thanks for another vlog. Just being there for your mum is all you can do. Keeping going and as normal as possible, keeps you going and saves you from driving yourself crazy with over thinking everything. We really do appreciate every vlog you put out. Xxx ❤️
Sending you both and your families much love. Things must be tough right now, It must be horrible wanting to help but you can't unfortunately. If you both need time, all your viewers/subscribers will be here waiting for you :) xx
I can completely relate, I'm going through it with dad atm unfortunately he has a brain tumor and memory loss to go with it. It's hard to balance everything especially when you want to be with them incase anything happens.
Thanks for your transparency, your honesty, basically all that stuff where you're talking about the difficult times you are having. Been following you both for years. Don't know you, but feel like I do.
What you are both doing for Nick's mom is wonderful, tiresome, challenging both physically and mentally!! I can say I have been on both sides of similar situations. My husband's elderly parents and my own parents each had their health crisis. Miss them all each day. I found myself on the opposite side earlier this year. Without warning i became seriously ill and hospitalized. My husband and daughter were told be prepared for the worse multiple times. I miraculously pulled thru and came home needing alot of assistance. Learned a lot about patience & doing what we can when we can. Make each day best! Take each day as it comes and do what you can when you can. Take care of each other while caring for Gail. Thanks for being the guys you are 🥰
Difficult times boys. Keep your chins up. Cawthorne is a lovely place. I was brought up in Staincross. As a teenager, in the sixties, my mates and I used to walk to Cawthorne, usually to Cannon Hall on a Sunday. The pub in Cawthorne was the Spencer Arms. The big house you passed may have been the one which belonged Dukes and Lee who were entertainers on the cabaret circuit in the sixties and seventies.
Hi Leigh and Nick, just wanted to say that you are doing a great job, under the awful circumstances. I love watching your videos and it must be awful trying to vlog and deal with life. I must say that I enjoy your content, even if it is just you two shopping at Aldi, or in the car chatting x
What you are going through is hard but you must take care of yourself both mentally and physically you both need to take time for yourselves even if it is just a date night away from the apartment and hospice even if you spend a night at a local hotel for a staycation take care of yourselvesxx
Sorry to hear about your mam, my mam was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and was struggling to walk, at the same time she was a carer for my dad who had Alzheimer's and Parkinson disease and was bed ridden, she was feeding him, changing his Incontinence pads, 24/7. After her one off huge dose treatment, she hated most foods and was back and for to hospital in the Specialist Palliative Care ward. This is 2 years on and she now has a bed sore that is stage 4, down to the bone. I was called to visit last Thursday as it is close to the end of life, she was refusing food and sleeping and confused due to soo much pain killers. I will visit her later, she will not know who I am but sometimes she does, then she cries.
So sorry that you are going through this. It was only a few months ago Nick’s Mum flew to America. Everyday is best is a good motto. If vlogging helps carry on if you need a break take one. We will be here on your return.
Hey gets those are called pillow shams and they are for when the bed is made up with a spare set of pillows. They are not meant to be slept on. The set should have come with regular pillow cases as well. (Normally the shams come with a comforter set)
I think you are doing extremely well. it's one of the most stressful and trying things to go through when someone so close has cancer. Its such a struggle to fit everything in some times you need to work for normality to keep you processing. But remember take time to yourselves even if it is an hour take yourself away to some wear it gives you peace coffee and cake and a book or what ever works for you. Night time and sleeping will be hell it's always the worse time there is no fix to it but time is an healer. Take care all the best to you both and the family you have each other to get through x
Awww guys, you've been the lowest I've seen you both, which is understandable. Sending all my love to you all for happier days. Its perfectly fine to be, down, normal, sad, tired and just totally MEH. You have so many people who love and respect everything you do , whilst bringing awesome content. Make tine for you, we're going nowhere. ❤❤
Aww you guys… my heart goes out to you both… It’s extremely hard for your mom going through what she’s going through but it’s also hard for people like you guys who are on the other end of it… There’s nothing more frustrating than when you put your hands and your faith in the hospital to make sure that your mom has everything she needs and then they drop the ball… I really hope that you guys are taking care of yourself and you’re both in my prayers… Love you guys❤️❤️
I feel your pain on that, I went through a similar event with my grandma but had to do it on my own. The guilt of not being there for everything can be very hard to overcome.
They are called Oxford pillow cases. I’m not keen on them as I have to iron them to make it look right. Brushed cotton sheets are amazing. I remember having them on the bed at my grans and they were candy striped, in pastel colours. Keeps smiling boys, life can be difficult but laughter makes it bearable. 😍❤️
I completely sympathise with you both. My mum had breast cancer in 2018 and then recurrent breast cancer with mets in 2021 and sadly passed away the same year. Please do take time for yourselves otherwise you will wear yourselves out. It’s the most stressful and heartbreaking thing to go through but all you can do is be there for each other and your family. Sending lots of love to you both and your family ❤❤
I’ve been where you both are with both my parents in hospice. You’re both such good sons. But remember self care even if it’s just a few minutes a day or when you can as care giving is mentally and physically draining.
Hi Guys, I haven’t commented for a while but have been enjoying every episode as always. I just have to say that you are doing an amazing job caring for mum, there’s no more you can do. My thoughts are with you , your mum and your family. Thank you for what you do 🙏
When my dad passed away 8 years ago, myself and my mam had the weirdest dreams and nightmares for the following year. The mind plays so many tricks on you and with Nick's mam been so I'll and lack of sleep, it's your bodies way of dealing with it. My mam and her twin turned 90 last May. Since then her twin passed away in November. Thankfully she got to see her back in July (we live in Dublin, her twin live in Silsden, Keightley).
I wish I could be your meals on wheels ❤ I'd love to have nice things ready for you when you get home and little lunch bags for you to take away for the day. Nicks face when he mentioned 'Ohana bread Pudding. Just lit up 😍 And Yes Nick has it so right. Clearing up all his clutter 😂 Hugs x
Leigh and Nick you are doing wonders for Nicks mum and she knows that, when she is on the mend and getting better you can both go back to your favourite place florida.
I totally sympathise and get what you are both going through. I went through the same thing with my dad last year and as hard as it is just being there and giving support means everything. You are both doing so well and your mum is lucky to have such great support and love. Keep going and know that better times will come xx
Awww all you guys are having a dreadful time just now,I'm just so sad for you all. I'd take all your troubles away in a heartbeat if I could 😥💔..Take care, love to you all 💙💙 xx
Hi to you both , Maybe a snack bag with drinks and food that doesn’t need refrigerating could be kept in the car . Just so your not missing meals .As a regular visitor to the east coast absolutely love watching your vlogs. You do make me 😂 Take care of each other and don’t feel guilty for having that needed time . Keep smiling xxx
Sounds like you are doing everything you can. Must be frustrating to be juggling everything. Make sure you do find time to rest and recuperate yourselves too.
Hi Nick and Leah just thought i’d send you a message of support as i went through what your going through now with Gayle, with my late partner who i lost to cancer in November, he was only 66yrs old and the whole thing was awful, it’s like your in limbo, the life you knew before with holidays etc just stops existing, and what you’ll be experiencing just now Nick will be trauma i’m praying for Gayle that she comes through this, it’s very hard for Gayle as it was for my partner, makes them upset and angry frustrated etc and very hard for yourselves as your life gets put on hold, but please take a break even a weekend to recharge get other family to help out, it’s a truly awful 😢time but poor Gayle she’s such a lovely woman, i used to wonder what my partner was thinking as he was terminal, 😢 please pray for Gayle🙏❤️xxxx
Illnesses are always hard. When I lost my dad I needed to concentrate on my mum. 6yrs ago I lost her then I was lost just me n hubby. Memories and holidays are good to keep people going. You are both looking after nicks mums as best as you can. I was a nurse and a cancer patient 10yrs next year I got it, I was 46. I did get it back but thankfully I’m still here. Make memories everyday, support his mum but remember each other. Love your videos but you will find times when you can’t. Everyone who supports you both are wishing you well and your mum all the best take each day as it comes enjoy time with family you don’t know what’s around the corner. Medication is good but my medication does the same blocks you up, sleep is strange and it’s hard to sleep when your brain stops you, don’t be to harsh on her take it from me a good night is getting 4hrs straight before waking up then your brain starts thinking, sorry to say unless you have been through something like this life changes, be supportive of each other. Wishing you and your family all the best we are all thinking positive thoughts
Yes you got our name right 😆 Sending lots of love and hugs to you both, hopefully us all being here to support the channel helps in some small way through this difficult time for your family ❤
It's understandable nick worried, it's not a nice position to be in, as you just don't know what's going on with her, wether the meds are working or now,, let's hope after her cemo, she be able to turn it around, stay positive lads 🤗🤗🤗❤️
Hi leigh n nick, you're both doing an amazing job with your life's turned upside down ,take each day as it comes your strength between you will keep you strong ,my world turned upside down 3yrs ago for me ,ikeep positive n carry on 💝
Have you guys tried a prune paste we did that with a client of mine. It’s prunes, dates, raisins try that you should be able to look it up. We gave it to him twice a day everyday. It helped give her 1 tsp twice a day. Run that by her nurse
I'm so sorry you guys are going though this with Nick's mom. I know how you feel, my daughter had cancer and it was every parents nightmare watching her be so sick and their really wasnt anything I could do about it. I think you're doing a good thing by just being with her and trying to make her comfortable. Just remember you still need sometime for yourselves .
Sending you both lots of love. It’s such a hard time, but try not to feel guilty for wanting your own time, that is what gives you the strength to deal with everything else. Take care xx
You have to have time yourselves for your own health and sanity. If not you are no use to anyone. Do not feel guilty I'm sure your mum appreciates you both as you are such lovely guys. Any mum would be proud to have you as her son and son in law. We are all sending you are love at this time😍
My life was on hold when dad was diagnosed with stomach and lung cancer ! It was work , castle hill dinner bath bed for 2 weeks then when he came home it was work , dinner dad bath bed ! I don’t begrudge any time ! You feel so helpless! I just kept making him laugh and making sure he was comfortable, that’s all you can do ! So I do feel for you ! Keep your chin up ! Wdw will still be there for you xx
Currently going through a similar situation with my grandad who has advanced lung cancer and it’s the hardest thing in the world knowing you can’t do anymore/anything to help 😕 Everyone says to take time out for yourself but you just feel too guilty to and I completely relate to that! Nick, if you find a way to sleep better then please let me know ☺️ You’re both doing the best you can and Gail will appreciate everything you are doing ❤ sending lots of love and hugs xxx
I've never commented on your vlogs before, but felt I had to after watching this one tonight. Having gone through similar with my mum I know that sense of helplessness...... Its just so hard to see them suffering and not be able to do anything to make it better 😔 You're doing an amazing job... All you can do it be there for your mum and try and find little moments for yourselves when you can! ❤️ On another note...... Did you really put away the Xmas tree baubles by chucking em in that sack?! 😂 Aren't you worried they will smash or get chipped or dented?! Lol! x
As someone who’s been thru something similar about 18months ago, just do whatever feels right, there’s no guidebook to it but I do know it’s so hard. Wishing you the best ❤
Never feel guilty you need to think about your own health and being there for Gail we will miss you but will be here when you return look after yourselves and Nicks Mum have been in your situation and really feel for you both take care xxxx
Never feel guilty for taking time for yourselves. Times like these are very hard both physically and mentally but if you dont look after yourself then you will find it hard to take care of others. You need to eat to refuel. I know it is hard, I have been there and really feel for you both. Take care of each other.
The pair of you are amazing you manage to keep us entertained when your minds must elsewhere thinking of Nicks Mum . Wishing you both and Nicks Mum all the best ❤ I know what you are going through.
Your both physically doing all you can for your mum nick don't feel guilty for taking time for yourselves. You need to rest so your in good health .have you tried ringing or speaking to MacMillan nurse at the hospice I'm sure they could help with getting your mum the equipment she needs to be comfortable at home sending my m best wishes to you all
I completely understand what you are going through right now ❤️ As you know my Mum had pancreatic cancer too, and sadly my Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer six months after we lost my Mum. I was doing the same as yourselves, spending much of my time at their home and then at the hospice. It's so tough. I echo what others are saying - make sure you take time to rest in between spending time with your mum. Take care of yourselves, big hugs ❤️
Hi guys been through cancer myself but what I would say is make sure you look after yourselves forget the diet for know eat on the go to keep your strength up it will take your strength away trying to do everything so pace yourselves…..just be there for your mum when you can you both have fabulous family’s and all pull together all thought you don’t know me love you both so look after yourselves and you will get through this with the help of everyone….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We learnt that when my dad was going through radiotherapy and chemo; if he said he wanted something particular food wise, you bet we will go and find it then and there. Something is better than nothing! She knows you’re there for her and she will be grateful for that x
It’s a cruel and long journey for all concerned. It sure messes with your head at times. The guilt, you feel is part of the journey. You feel helpless at times, Our cancer journey too, was very difficult at times, emotions all over the place. You think you are not doing enough but there is no right or wrong way to deal with this. Rest when you can. If it helps to carry on vloging, but if you need a break do it. Don’t worry about what calories you are eating. With all your running around and stress, you will soon work it off. Take time to be together as you said. It’s inportant to recharge your batteries. If you need help from other family members, then ask. We are all in this journey with you. Hang in there Leigh and Nick. You are doing amazing.❤️❤️❤️
Being there for your mum and giving her whatever she wants is the best thing you can do.I will be over soon on holiday if there is anything she would like from FL I would be more than happy to bring it.
Can’t imagine the stress and worry you’ve both got, Thankyou for the vlog, your both doing a fantastic job looking after Nicks mam, sending lots of love to you all xx
Sending all our love my partner was diagnosed with cancer recently so I know how it is to be juggling everything. Just be there as you are with all the love and support and so important take whatever time you can for yourselves to recharge ❤
It's hard to always be bright and positive when you are experiencing carer stress. It's also OK to not be ok with the situation. You are both doing the best you can do for Gail just by being there for her when she needs it. Seek support from friends and from the nurses.
Thanks Louise. Friends have been great and the nurses at the Hospice are lovely and treat Gail so well. When you are in the middle of this kind of situation its easy to get frustrated with whats going on. All you want to do is find a way to help and cure things and when you cant its draining to your soul
Guys stop feeling Guilty about us your fans so so understand & are here for you whenever life is more important I can't believe for the first time that I know of in 3 years Nick is wearing Long Pant's on Camera Now to me thats a first !! Take Care Keep Strong luv to mum my Best David x
Look after yourselves whilst going through this difficult journey. You are both being so brave and positive, sharing with us some of what you are going through. Love and kind thoughts for your mum. 💜
It’s so hard to be back and forth for Gayle , but you wouldn’t have it any other way and as much as she may seem grumpy at times , she will totally appreciate all your both do for her . Hopefully , You’ll soon be able to look back at this time and reflect on the funnier moments during it all . Hang on in there and play it by ear as far as the videos are concerned . Don’t forget it’s not about the money and things you have and do , but the family you have to share them with . Sending hugs 🤗
Hi Guys, hope you both are doing ok, check out Y food drinks, they are perfect if yous are on the road a lot and will help keep yous going while doing long stints at the hospice with your Mum
A tip when cooking quorn, if you soak it the day before you eat it in some water, light soy sauce and worchester sauce, it makes the quorn much tastier and succulent. 🙂
My mum had cancer in her womb last year and I couldn’t do anything. like you say couldn’t say anything to make her feel better but I was there for her and I had to be strong I understand you can’t take time off but maybe a day to just zone out do stuff to chill ect much love to you all 🤍🏴
Thinking of you both, went through this with my dad last year. We lost him to lung cancer (second time) heart problems and covid. Sending you best wishes for your mum.
Awww guys we all understand if you take time out as it must be stressful lads, I don't think anyone would judge you taking time out, when nick mam so ill ❤️❤️
My mum was the same with her moods she could be great one minute then the next she was not pleasant but remember it’s not her it’s the meds and the illness. Sometimes my mum could say very hurtful things to me (I was her palliative carer . I’m a social carer by profession) she would even make me cry it was hurtful but I would take a breath and remember that it isn’t her saying these things and she would be so upset and keep apologising when she realised what she’d said but I’d just say to her it’s ok I’m fine because I know she didn’t mean it and that she loved me. Unfortunately my passed away but her last words to me was that she loved me and was proud of me. No better words could have been said to me.
Thanks Lane. Hope your Mum is doing well

❤️♥️❤️ being a carer is stressful, exhausting and draining. Stay strong. Sending positive thoughts ♥️❤️♥️
Very true. People who care full time are amazing. As are nurses
My heart goes out to you so much, don’t feel guilty for having some time for yourselves, just wish your Mum was ok Nick x
Thanks Fiona
I think you are doing extremely well. it's one of the most stressful and trying things to go through when someone so close has cancer. Its such a struggle to fit everything in some times you need to work for normality to keep you processing. But remember take time to yourselves even if it is an hour take yourself away to some wear it gives you peace coffee and cake and a book or what ever works for you. Night time and sleeping will be hell it's always the worse time there is no fix to it but time is an healer. Take care all the best to you both and the family you have each other to get through x
Thanks Jody
Awww guys, you've been the lowest I've seen you both, which is understandable. Sending all my love to you all for happier days. Its perfectly fine to be, down, normal, sad, tired and just totally MEH. You have so many people who love and respect everything you do , whilst bringing awesome content. Make tine for you, we're going nowhere. ❤❤
Thank you
Aww you guys… my heart goes out to you both… It’s extremely hard for your mom going through what she’s going through but it’s also hard for people like you guys who are on the other end of it… There’s nothing more frustrating than when you put your hands and your faith in the hospital to make sure that your mom has everything she needs and then they drop the ball… I really hope that you guys are taking care of yourself and you’re both in my prayers… Love you guys❤️❤️
Use that endoscope under the lounge floor to see if it’s a void. Great storage space under floor if you can use it.
Thank you for what you do 🙏
Thanks Glenn
Just lit up 😍
And Yes Nick has it so right. Clearing up all his clutter 😂 Hugs x
lisa's meals on wheels. I can see that as a new business venture for you
Leigh and Nick you are doing wonders for Nicks mum and she knows that, when she is on the mend and getting better you can both go back to your favourite place florida.
I totally sympathise and get what you are both going through. I went through the same thing with my dad last year and as hard as it is just being there and giving support means everything. You are both doing so well and your mum is lucky to have such great support and love. Keep going and know that better times will come xx
Praying for you guys and what you’re going thru. I pray Nick’s mom gets better. You r both good sons. God bless you both
Awww all you guys are having a dreadful time just now,I'm just so sad for you all. I'd take all your troubles away in a heartbeat if I could 😥💔..Take care, love to you all 💙💙 xx
Thanks Alison. Xxx
@@TheLodgeGuys 😘😘💙💙 xx
Thanks Alison
Yes you got our name right 😆
Sending lots of love and hugs to you both, hopefully us all being here to support the channel helps in some small way through this difficult time for your family ❤
It does help guys. When we get time to check the comments it's lovely to read them.
It's understandable nick worried, it's not a nice position to be in, as you just don't know what's going on with her, wether the meds are working or now,, let's hope after her cemo, she be able to turn it around, stay positive lads 🤗🤗🤗❤️
Sending you both lots of hugs, must be so difficult, but the care you are giving your mum Nick is absolutely amazing, love to you both ❤️❤️
Thank you so much!
Nice One Guys .Been There ,know What You Guys Are Going Through .Time Is Precious .❤
You are both wonderful. Keep staying strong boys and fight your way out of this Nick’s Mum. I feel like she will 💪🏼 she has the best support ❤️ x
Thanks Lula
Guys those huge pillow cases are actually shams. They are to make your bed look nice but not to sleep on. Love you guys 😊
Its just so hard to see them suffering and not be able to do anything to make it better 😔
You're doing an amazing job... All you can do it be there for your mum and try and find little moments for yourselves when you can! ❤️
On another note......
Thanks Susan
You both are doing a great job in difficult circumstances and you are helping so many people with all your recent vlogs.
We have done a few Mcdonald runs for Gail, as you say, what she wants she gets 😍
You have to do what is best for you all ,but I would miss your vlogs and you guys ,
It’s a cruel and long journey for all concerned.
Awwww guys. Feel for you. Sending huge hugs 🥰😘❤🙏
Thanks Hilary
Being there for your mum and giving her whatever she wants is the best thing you can do.I will be over soon on holiday if there is anything she would like from FL I would be more than happy to bring it.
Sending you lots of love guys…hoping Gail is ok. You definitely need time to yourselves so please don’t feel guilty!…xx
Thanks June
All the best to you both, and your family, ❤❤
Can’t imagine the stress and worry you’ve both got, Thankyou for the vlog, your both doing a fantastic job looking after Nicks mam, sending lots of love to you all xx
Sending all our love my partner was diagnosed with cancer recently so I know how it is to be juggling everything. Just be there as you are with all the love and support and so important take whatever time you can for yourselves to recharge ❤
Thanks Jonathan. Sorry to read about your partner, hope they are doing well
You got the Oxford pillow cases you just want standard pillow cases, I get my brushed cotton duvet set from ebay or tesco f&f
Guys stop feeling Guilty about us your fans so so understand & are here for you whenever life is more important
I can't believe for the first time that I know of in 3 years Nick is wearing Long Pant's on Camera Now to me thats a first !! Take Care Keep Strong luv to mum my Best David x
Another great vlog. Cancer is hard, and when a loved one goes through it, you do as well. I pray for your mum Nick ...She is in God's hands.
Look after yourselves whilst going through this difficult journey. You are both being so brave and positive, sharing with us some of what you are going through. Love and kind thoughts for your mum. 💜
Thank you so much!
I can relate to the stress you're going through right now. My Mom just got done with chemo in August. Sending prayers and hugs.
Thanks Linda. Hope your Mom us doing well
@@TheLodgeGuys She is slowly improving. Thanks!
Thanks Maria
A tip when cooking quorn, if you soak it the day before you eat it in some water, light soy sauce and worchester sauce, it makes the quorn much tastier and succulent. 🙂
Thanks for the tip!
Sending hugs to Nick and Leigh.
❤️
I've been through this with my mom, it is very difficult and draining ( on both sides) sending positive healing thoughts and hugs to you all...
❤️
My mum had cancer in her womb last year and I couldn’t do anything.
like you say couldn’t say anything to make her feel better but I was there for her and I had to be strong I understand you can’t take time off but maybe a day to just zone out do stuff to chill ect much love to you all 🤍🏴
Sending you all our love , you are two lovely thoughtful guys love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Val. Hope you two are well
@@TheLodgeGuys we are doing fine take care ❤️❤️❤️

It's important to take time out for yourselves, you mustn't feel guilty xx
Thanks Lorraine
Thinking of you both, went through this with my dad last year. We lost him to lung cancer (second time) heart problems and covid. Sending you best wishes for your mum.
Thanks Lesley. Sorry to hear of your loss
@@TheLodgeGuys That's very kind of you.
Thanks Karen, sorry to read about your Mum
