You can’t really do that when you have big boards out man , the fish is protected behind the boat when your releasing them , as long as they are upright , the fish are completely fine.
You can’t really stop the boat with big planer boards out on that lake , we do the best we can to slow down , let the fish collect itself and then we release them , the fish stays up right , they swim right down when they are ready. The release has to be done that way with bigger planer boards out , you can’t stop the boat.
