About Uriah Shelton's singing from what I read years ago when this movie first came out I think he'd had lessons as a younger kid in different aspects of music among other things.

My Husband is in the National Guard, along with a brother as well, and another brother in the Navy with a friend, so this whole show means a lot to me. I am terrified that I will end up trying to raise any kids that we may have on my own, only able to tell them stories about their father. I love this show and my heart goes out to everyone that has lost a husband, a brother, a father, an uncle or a friend in the armed forces, and I say Thank you and God bless those that serve our country!
This movie is really good. Whenever I get to this part I feel like I'm going to cry because it's hard to know what the people around you are going through. They may have had a bad day or they may have lost family that was in the Army, Navy or any other branch. I work with kids so that gets me to thinking if they lost any loved ones or if they're going through a tough time but hard to know if they don't express they're emotions. I'll be praying for ya'll that lost loved ones.

I LOVE this movie and have for years. Looking back, the only thing I wish they would’ve included was female soldiers (moms, sisters, daughters, etc.) who also lost their lives serving our country. The only thing they show is men which I get for the year but yeah still love this movie very touching just thought I would add that
