Uhh sorry for the bad resolution... Anyways, if you're interested in buying world war 1 airsoft weapons you should check out my website: worldwar1airsoft.com/
Timothius The Great I’m not sure if this is your problem too, but my problem was that there was a little too much gap between the mounting lug and the hole on the chinstrap. So I just used my vice and a hammer and tried to smush the hole in to more tightly fit the lug Also I have the ima one with the stirnpanzer :)
you know what is the hardest part, i guess? No it's not the gear, or the weapon It's finding like-minded people You have been incredibly lucky...I go in the field with my mid '90s ALICE kit (nothing exceptional) and my teammates in the airsoft club look at me like i'm some sort of dinosaur And it takes away from the experience, when you go all pumped up with your metre-and-half bolt action or semiauto pistol, and find yourself opposed by the latest ubercompact M4 with a 666bb/sec ratio and a 400bb mag that's why I have some bitterness when I see you play, because you have been very lucky But never stop, you do a great thing, so...keep it up!
That's kind of true. As I said it's very frustrating to go against those hyper M4s with your bolt action. This branch shows its best sides when playing in scenario games.
DonPatrono hello I am a like minded individual I have been collecting desert storm gear for all my life I have a basically complete setup I get the same looks when I roll in with my pasgt vest and Alice
Some fields give you mad respect though. I picked up the nickname "Wolfenstien" on one of the fields I use to play because I had a M36 German Officer's Crusher cap and an MP-40 + Luger, but 'surplus' early 2000s Marine Camies from my father.
Tom Knox it always baffles me, that...i mean, it's just 15-20 years old kit, soldiers still are given that for training, probably some people who are in their 30s or who have older brothers have used these...and yet they look at you like you're from the 19th century Hauptman Tyson here in Italy it's different, there are no "arena fields" that you go, pay and play, here in italy you join an airsoft team (registered at a sport association like CONI, CSEN, ASCI, ASNWG) and each team has a field (belonging to someone from which they received a written authorization, be it private or public like the city hall or the military) where you play. It's a much more close-knit community, that allows you to train with more or less the same people regularly, but if you have the "bad luck" of liking WW2 and being into a team that treats a TAC V-1 vest like it's an archaeological relic, you're kinda doomed
Tom Knox Dude desert storm loadouts are badass. I currently have one down to the A.L.I.C.E. gear, night desert camo, and the M17 A2 gas mask. I run a M16A1 and a 1911A1.
Well as long as you have historically accurate uniform and field eq, you can also do reenacting, so this is basically nothing that hard to get, cept for the fact that it can cost some money... it's the weapon that makes it hard.
There's a pretty decent M1903 out there that I've found for roughly $250 if you look hard enough. If that fails though you could always mock up a shotgun to look like a trench gun 😂
Can you do a tutorial on how to make a ww1'gas mask with built in eye protection cause I'm intrigued by the look and I think if I was to make one it would scare the hell out of the people at the local indoor field I go to
I wish my friends wanted to do World War 1 airsoft. I’ve been doing it on my own for a year. I’m just that guy that dresses up in a German Alpenjäger 1918 with a random m4. I really want to join you in World War 1 airsoft.

World War 1 Airsoft Yep; ) I'm projecting a Villar Perosa but I have to think how to reach an high rate of fire. I'm doing since your MP18 project. Thank you for gave me this idea.
As for weapons in my opinion the very best option for a ww1 airsoft rifle is the S&T arisaka type 38 (type 38s were used a lot by the Russians in ww1). They sell it on Evike for a very good price for what it is, it's an upgradable (probably) spring rifle with great performance, fast to reload, generally reliable. Very authentic ww1 era rifle with a lovely wood stock, if anyone wants to be a frontovik in ~1916-17 this is the gun for you comrade.
That's true but the gun is out of stock all the time and it only fits russians. From me you can order a gewehr 98 or kar98az maybe, with powerful internals ;)
World War 1 Airsoft that's true but it's still somewhat obtainable, and probably fits Austro Hungarians as well (as captured). Tbh right now I'm putting together a 1916 Russian grenadier platoon basically trench raid loadout for cqb with a modified nagant revolver with shot shells.
I have a ww1 austro hungarian uniform (late war) but all my friends only like ww2 or like modern day equipment. Like i walk in for a match and they look at me like im a psychopath. They are you know getting in their desert iraq uniform or like a G.I uniform with their glocks and m4a1s. Then I just burst in with a Austrian field cap and like some jack boots. They always ask "why don't you like ww2?" The reason is I like ww1 cause its less popular. So yeah usually I just play the match with them normally but there's no trenches, gas, charging with bayonets stuff like that.
ww1 is awesome but i stayed with ww2 becuse of the price and also because there are more people with ww2 loadouts to play with and since we have a very small field it would be hard to put the boltaction rifle in use in my oppinion but maybe one day ill do this loadout too anyways awesome video :)

I advise you try out the sport before you spend money. Don't let me telling you this stop you from playing airsoft but im just warning you that it might take a bit to get all your stuff.
