I’m so glad you like your mystery bags !!!! I still have 6 left to sell should some one still be interested. My email address is always in the description of my videos. This is the week to get them because after next Tuesday I’ll be out of commission for about a week or so due to having kidney stone removal surgery.
People from all over watch you. You have something about you I have seen from a UA-camr in a long time. You’re genuinely my favorite yarnie you and Crystal are the only ones I follow and look for new videos. Continue to be you. There’s big things in store for you my friend.
How exciting to receive something from Thailand. I would love to see vintage yarn styles/colors come back. I’m vintage and want to see if I remember any, especially from Woolworth.
The interchangeable hooks look so interesting- can you share the manufacturer/label name, or who made them? Thanks for another fun video. So much great yarn - it all looks yummy. ❤
Hi Juan, so nice to see you! that is so funny you pulled out the ICE 50844 yarn, the 5 Bulky. I got rid of the ones I had, can not recall where they went to, but I wonder if those are the ones? LOL If you go back and watch some of my oldest videos, you will see that I did some videos showing them and crochet a pumpkin that I was showing off several times. I LOVED that pumpkin and even ended up giving it away to someone, can not recall right now, but used a cinnamon stick for the Pumpkin stem, it was so adorable. I love that colorway for crocheting up pumpkins! Thanks for another fun video unboxing.
Man you SCORED with those two blue bags! I’m jealous.. I miss your spin the wheel thing for hats. Maybe use that Ice yarn 🧶? Thank you for sharing, have a good day. 😊
Wow. Vintage for the vintage. I wondered what you were going to do with the vintage. Can't wait to see the vintage variegated. The Rambling Rose even looks soft, but it IS "premier", so that may be the difference. The Key Largo is what I used for my little alpaca's blanket. It is one of the prettiest yarns made up. It doesn't hurt that it is my favorite color. ☺ Love dragons. You have you a treasure there.
Glad to visit with you today. My 82 yo mom joined as well. I have been trying to get her back crocheting. With a bit of effort, she remembered single crochet. We watched one of Crystal’s tutorials and she decided to try double crochet and is nailing it. She enjoyed your package opening and sharing all the yarn goodness. As for myself, I have been trying to find your brand of coffee, but no luck so far. Does not seem to be popular in my area of Canada. Instead, I am drinking Zavida crème brûlée no creamer. Thanks for sharing your crochet journey
I’m About Eleven Hours Late But Here I’m Seeing All The Things All The Beautiful Yarns And Hello To You And Your Mom Amanda Hooked You Up With The Mystery Bags I Love Amanda To 👀You In The Next Video ♥️🌺🦋💜👍🏽⭐️👏🏽
Loved this episode! Some of the vintage yarn colors remind me of growing up with all the harvest golds and avocado greens! My childhood! This is so much fun. Enjoy your treasures!
Juan, I'm watching the replay of your podcast. You read the card that I sent for her birthday. Thank you so much for making a very bad day into a much better one. 💜🧶💖🧶💜
Woolworth brings back memories. Good memories of me shopping with my Mom. I enjoyed seeing true mystery bags of yarn. I not sure I would every purchase one. I like to know exactly what yarn I am getting. I most use four weight acrylic yarn. I haven’t ventured into the other sizes yet. Maybe in time. I am still new to the craft ☺️
I remember Phentex yarn not good! Wasn't it like a nylon splinty affair? I got the melange to make the shallow width shawls. Have you tried Tulip hooks? I thought about getting the pink set but I really don't need them lol! I found another male crocheter, Urban Farmboys. You should see his temperature blanket in squares. He has two squares done for this year and it is huge! Check him out. He's a cutie like you!
Lee Wards! I miss that place - the best craft store ever. And then Michaels purchased them, and boom - not so great. Most of my patterns that i had came from the back of the labels.
I used Sayelle yarn all the time. That and harness from the Super Yarn Mart. A big store of yarn and yarn supplies. Started crocheting at age 8. Super Yarn Mart was like Disneyland to me. Thanks for bring back some memories. Love your channel!!
Juan, just wanted to let you know that I found some Caron Dazzleaire yarn at a thrift store for a $1 per skein. I bought all 5 skeins; they were all blue.
I think you should hang some of your signs in back of you on the cross spaces of the black strips it won't hide your yarn as you have all the colors in 1 box so people can see what each color is and would see your signs just a suggestion
Hi Juan…love all the Vintage yarns Diana sent you….so awesome! I recognized a few from back in the day but didn’t recognize a few. Awesome & gorgeous yarn 🧶 in the mystery bags from Amanda! She did great!! I may have to check her mystery bags out! Enjoyed seeing all ur happy mail! Have a great evening! 😊🧶🦋💜
Just watching now... Saw that first skein of yarn with the Woolworth's sticker on it. OMG! Major memory flash back. That is the exact yarn I used many many years ago (obviously) to make on of the old Pillow Dolls. Wow! You are so lucky to have that yarn. I loved it!

Oh yes, a vintage yarn redo would be awesome! Woolworths makes me think of " O Brother Where Art Thou?" "Stay out of the Woolworths!"
Anyone else remember Ben Franklin. They had yarn in the basement
