Yeah, containers use Flexbox, but it is also possible to click on a widget inside of a container and give it some "Flex" settings related to alignment and size. It all about positioning, ordering, sizing. While I believe the container does need to be Flexbox for it to work, widget then too can have some settings as well. At least, that is how I understand it.
