Thanx a lot Ajahn Brahm, I am not a buddhist, but every evening I listen to your talks and many times it ease my pain. I am battling drugs and alcool since I am a teenager and now I am to a point where I'm about to lose the few peoples who loves me realy,.and I battle a lot angainst anxiety. I am what you call stupid, I just can't figure how other people are able to live this life. You are such a good man. I wish I had 1/1000 of your wisdom..
Keep watching talks and join meditation group in your town. Also listen to Noah Levines talks. Hes a former addict turned Buddhist. Real cool dude. Peace to you and good luck.
This talk just made my day or accualy more like a month, since i am going through divorce at this time in my life. After big disapointment and long time of worry I feel allmost like without care in the world. Thank you for helping us break complex prisons we lock ourselfs in our mind with your deep yet simple and elegant wisdom.
“Who is the most important person?” { The one in front of me.} “And if no one is in front of you, then you are the most important person.” And since I’m single, most times, I’m the most important person. 😝🥳🥰
The thing is, is that i'm shy and I want to rid myself of it but it's hard. So I do feel as if I am missing out from being around the opposite sex ( me, male) ...
Same here. I think it is fear of rejection. And the only way to get rid of anxiety is to face it. Based on that knowledge, being brave becomes more of a necessity and less of an option. At least for me.
Such a wonderful talk. Thank you Ajahn Brahm
I loooooove you Ajahn Brahm so much ❤
As long as you get being with yourself right, being with others is easy
Thank you ajahn brahm
