After my high school graduation 2022 I'm moving to LA to become an actress!!! I'm going there next summer for 6 weeks to already make connections and get to know the place better. I can't wait! My mother finally gave me the greenlight cause she saw that I'm serious about it

I feel like starting at a young age is a better choice them starting older, my Mom, doesn’t have the eligibility to put my into acting classes, she put me into theater I have some credits in theatre my Parents are working on getting me an agent to pursue my dreams of being an actor. I love seeing videos like this it’s great feel so you know what you can expect keep up the good work. Never stop your doing great.
just so you know if an agent asks for money up front they are scamming you!! lots of agents are trying to scam people so be careful!!

Guys no offense, but having an agent or the thoughts of becoming an actor is not what it takes to really . I dont wanna demotivate but if u re doing for money and all then dont ,cuz understanding the art is different and then performing it too. Acting classes doesn't make you an actor ,cuz the whole world can go to acting classes but that ain't no path. Path is difficult, it's hard, and lots of things . And becoming a star even idk.

Hey Jordan! I've attended a few events with casting directors through Scenebot, which has been really cool. I would research the agencies that are based in your area (I don't know if you live in LA) and see what they require for submissions. Most need some sort of acting footage, so put together a reel from what you have. Submit to as many agencies as you can! Also, if you have a friend or teacher with connections, you can always reach out and ask for advice. :) Thanks for your support, and I wish you the best of luck!

Get as much practice as you can! The more you do it, the easier it becomes. Take advantage of opportunities in your area like community theatre and local performing groups. If you love it, follow your passion! Good luck!

Actors don't seem to ever work! I am a nurse and it is ready, set, GO! From the moment I arrive on the ward til the end of the shift, there's been lots of times when I don't get to eat or use the toilet. All the actors are eating, chilling in their trailer or putting on clothes. They say they work 18 hours a day but most of the time they seem to be doing nothing between scenes.

I honestly need all the advice I can get. I want to be an actress but I don't even know how to start. I literally live halfway across the world in a country that, 1 Everyone forgets about and 2 has absolutely no opportunities cause every commercial literally only airs once in a language I bearly speak. I am lucky enough to have family members from the US but they are all in New York and don't believe that acting it a job and so they wouldn't help me. I am only 13 so I am not even close enough to moving to the US cause my mom is American but doesn't want to go live there again. I really don't know what I am going to do and how I am going to make it happen. I am not going to give up on my dream, no matter how long it takes for me to get there I am still going to try and figure it out. If anyone. has some advice for me on how to do all of this I would really appreciate it.
