Just what I wanted.. Doubles Tips! If you can share more about the changeovers, that would be best! Especially for the sandbag lunges, can you show us how you did it?
Thanks for all your tips and well done! I'm 5'1 and just signed up with my 6'7 husband, gonna be an interesting split haha but this is exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks for the helpful video! I have one question, as I couldn't see it clearly in the video. When you're in a mixed double. Does the female also have to hit the highest target in the wall ball? Thanks again!
I am confused with rules about sled push. Can we split the sled push in the middle and take turns pushing? For pull I understand that it is not. Thank you very much!!! ❤❤ PS. Thanks for these videos. It is motivating and very informative.
You can switch with your partner whenever you want on all stations. So yes sled push and pull you can switch mid way down a length. Appreciate the support
I cannot see anywhere in the rule book that lifting it overhead is not allowed. A transfer forward is not allowed, I lifted it up over my head but when passing it over my partner was to the side of me.
The rulebook states: "The transition of the Sandbag between DTMs can be either sideways or backwards but never forward.". My understanding is that it only refers to the position of the athletes, thus DTM 2, while receiving the sandbag, must stay behind or aside DTM 1. "Sideways", "backwards", "forward" do not apply to the sandbag itself, am I correct? Anyway, I stil have doubts because ua-cam.com/video/g2VW8JZqBUE/v-deo.html looks like a "forward" transition rather than a "sideways" one, and that is an official video.
How would u split the ratio of exercises if both the same fitness and size pretty much? Also, how do u know if you are running too fast for partner if in single file ?
If you’re both the same then I would split it 50/50. We had whoever is in front look back every now and then but as long as you communicate and stay close you can stay in sync.
Your broad jumps are incredible! Respect
Thanks I’ve still got some springs from playing ball 🏀

No females hit the low target men hit the high in doubles. And it actually not supposed to count if females hit the top target
@@woodsyworkout thanks man! That helps a lot 👊🏼

Isn't it forbidden to lift the Bag over the head at the Lunges Station when you perform the change?

tips for changing sandbag lunges for same height indiviudals
Line up back to back and grab the other set of handles.
@@woodsyworkout is it better if both face forward and change so we don’t spend time turning after change
do you know whats you average HR for the hyrox?
It fluctuates between 80-90% and averages about 86% for a solo race. Doubles race fluctuates more and averages a bit lower.
Where can you get split times and what is considered good per station?
Check out the hyresults website
