I put the biscuit rug under a rockingchair in a nursery! it's quite cute.
This kit is definitely too 'pastel' for my taste. But it's good that others have found an interst in this kit. I personally LOVE the clutter kit! Do you know how long I prayed to have a decent sports bottle in my Sims home gym? And...and...and (sorry, I'm just so happy) to finally have a coffee cup lying around that a Sim WON'T always pick up and wash? ( I'm on console btw) And..and...and..(still happy about this kit) the phone and cars keys combo..... Dead. lol
The one thing I don't enjoy with the clutter kit is the "boom boxes" (if I remember the name correctly 😂). I honestly thought I would love the clutter kit much more than the pastel pop one but it's been the other way round! The coffee cups are next level. though. I love having several of them on a desk in a teen room 😄.
Satch! In America 3:52 those aren't cookies either! That would be a square saltine cracker. I found your channel through Plumbella and I haven't regretted my sub!
i love plumbella and i also love this kit but not bc of her branding but because it scratches that specific part of my neurodivergent brain. this kit is really for a specific taste and thats perfectly okay. im personally glad that theyre letting simmers to collaborate for the game's content but for ea right now, it feels so... idk performative? 💀 after all that backlash from mws and hsy they all of a sudden started to release kits after kits collaborating with simmers. it feels performative and fake idk
I know this kit is based on a specific style but it does look like it could've been included with high school years instead of being on its own. But I guess there are plenty of people who don't want that pack who might want this kit...I don't know. Kits are still to cash grabby for me.
No, I don't really like this kit either. It's about as far from my style as humanly possible. It's a good fit for a kit, since they're supposed to be niche, and all respect to Plumbella for the design. Looking forward to the clutter kit review, that's more up my alley.
I was sold as soon as I heard shag carpeting because I’ve been wanting that for years. I wish it had more swatches, but I knew not to expect much. But this kit is just so weird I love or hate every item. But I just don’t understand the cookie/biscuit rug. I guess if you were building a bakery? The kit does really compliment HSY stuff and will be fun for kids rooms.

Ik this isn't yalls style but they had strawberry cows which is 100% my style and me. My phone case is strawberries with a strawberry cow popsocket. I love strawberries and cows ❤
I don't get why Plumbella would advocate for a dumb Kit after she has numerously said that she wants EA to release meaningful content for this game and less "stuff"! This kit is absolutely useless 🥴
@@bookcat123 she could have kept her stance though. At least it would have benefited simmers more to know that a prominent game changer isn't pro kits and only promotes good gameplay to the community in turn making EA release less "stuff" and more "substance" in the future to avoid backlash. It's also the only way to stop the scamy behavior. Game changers did the same for my first pet's stuff and EA didn't try that again too.
Yep. I'm not against EA pairing with simmers to make kits (I actually think it's better) but the fact that she's emphasized wanting useful kits and then made ...this... just rubs me the wrong way :/
Yep, any Sims content creator promoting or collaborating for kits is just encouraging EA in the microtransactions department, EA will use their popularity for free advertising. Meanwhile the content creator has sold their integrity for views, fame and praise. How can people trust their opinion afterwards?
I love Plumbella content on UA-cam but personally I would only buy it for the rocksalt lamp. I'm 28 years old most of things aren't my style. It will be interesting what people do with it tho. 🤷🏻♀️
I thought I was gonna hate this kit as well. It gives EXTREMELY early 90's Barbie/Polly Pocket vibes with a hint of Japanese Decora, which is cute in its own right, but looks so out of place and too cartoony. But there are some items and swatches that I love, such as the tile tables which give a nice "80's Miami Vice" aesthetic depending on the swatch. Oddly, this kit started to grow on me.
I really want to like this one but a lot of the furniture gives me the weirdly chunky and plastic vibes of the build buy from My First Pet Stuff. I just don’t care for the really chunky styled furniture
I love all things pink and pastel, but this one just isn't for me. I want the rock salt lamp, but that's it. I feel like we already have so much stuff like this; and by that, I mean kiddified. Basically the whole game is feels childish, and this pack only adds to that - I really want some dark / mature stuff. Sorta like the Oh My Goth theme simsresource did; give me dark, give me moody, give me mature stuff. Enough with the childlike themes😪
@@augusto7681 I wasn’t saying that goth and mature go together - simply that I’d like some variety, rather than more of the same pastel, neutrals, light stuff EA typically gives us. The Oh My Goth collection was simply an example of the stark difference from the usual that I’d like to see.
I thought I’d enjoy this one from the icon but the more I learn about it the less I like it. then again I didn’t really like that pandemic era of homemade ‘quirky’ furniture trying to force being quirky type stuff anyway.. and the floors and rugs look soooo flat .. nothing seems like it matches
I love the concept of this kit, and I love love love pastels, but I do not vibe with this style at all so the kit is an absolute hard pass for me personally
if you're only building for Barbie or Polly Pocket this pack looks great. If you're building for actual people, it's hideous IMHO. Congrats to Plumbella for getting a kit of her designs made though. That's really cool. Not my style though.
Isn't that the noodle candle? I have that candle and I do not have this new kit. I guess the SIMS team are repackaging old items they already released and re-selling them. Which would not surprise me.
Another 2 kits im gonna skip. I personally dont vibe with the pastel thingies (although they are cute) and the clutter is a disappointment 😂 (what did we expect)
I think it's kind of unique, i'm been fan of jesse myself for quite sometimes awhile now and her suggestions that she said in the video of hers are nicely done.
I think the models lack texture. They seem made of rubber or plastic. I know ts4 isnt realistic but the texture look like a plain color with some shadows. Some objetcs also need more polygons to look less geometric and more fluffy.
all I see is builder stuff I barely see any cool game play with this game. stuff packs are nice but at the same time I rather have the game play. these items don't do anything so what is the point then just sitting there looking nice?
As a male simmer I personally do not like this kit, I am one of them male simmers who do not like girly things in my game unless I play a female sim which is like 30 % of the time, plus I do not support kits what so ever they are a cash grab and most of them are ugly. I stick to mods made by modders as they put more effort into there creations and they are also free of charge.
I’m a female simmer and I play both male or female sims. I’m not fond of girly things (a little sometimes but it’s too cliché for me lol) But I think too, it’s money grab and it’s quite ugly not very well designed or modelized and veryyyy kitsch, except if you want something kitsch on purpose. Modders do best in my opinion.
@@jahanshadi1934 Yeah, like why buy a kit when you can download mods that are free and are 100 times better than anything in the game itself....you be just burning money buying kits.
Idk why ....but this feels so...70s flower power but pastel but kinda muddy pastel and i dont like it.. I really would have preferd ab all out kawaii aesthetic kit with neko paw pillows, fuzzy pon pon and plushies, fariy lights, frilly bed sheets and more strawberry or peach designs
Cute, but not worth any money. I love that carpet flooring texture though, which is sad because I would never be able to get it. The rest of the items give me too much my first pet vibes (the pack with the *worst* furniture and swatch colours)
I feel like its very immature style, I don't like it. Now, as I play on every aspect of life, would I find a use for it, surely enough, but I will pass on this kit. The only thing that can appeal for general use for me are the salt lamp, the carpet and wall papers... I feel it weird too to have a double bed for such an immature/young girly style... cant imagine sims making out in this bed, sorry I'm not that deranged!
Wait!! Plumbella had to buy this kit herself?!!! They didn’t give her free access to her own design?!! Wow just wow
How do you know?
that's so stupid, especially since Game Changers usually get this stuff for free :(
I mean, they've already paid her.
A lot of the time they get a code for the packs for free, but they buy the packs so they can give the code they got away on stream.
Maybe it was bc of her making the pack, so she wanted to be so unbiased she could? Or something 😂

I dont know goth stuff also remember me of tennagers. Its tennager or vampires, I cant imagine a "mature house" in all black goth style.
Dont mind them the point of this channel is for YOUR OPINION
I wish EA would make more things that are more boyish
That first swatch on the cookie rug just reminded me of a saltine cracker…
Isn't that the noodle candle? I have that candle and I do not have this new kit. I guess the SIMS team are repackaging old items they already released and re-selling them. Which would not surprise me.
"softcore" now we dont talk about that word 👁️
Pastel colors remind me of Australian bathrooms of the 1930's = Yellow, 1940's = Green, 1950's = Pink.
I thought chipboard straight away too!!! Oh my … parasites 😅 …. But did you lie tho? 😂
I think its a good pack to distinguish between teen and adult sims, buy i dont think its worth my money
Another 2 kits im gonna skip. I personally dont vibe with the pastel thingies (although they are cute) and the clutter is a disappointment 😂 (what did we expect)
I would love a way to delete the maxis content that you never use xD
ugh i would delete about 3/4 of maxis items XD or some swatches at least!
FACTS hahaha
Is it just me or is it a bit... bland? Idk i thought it'd be... more MORE if that makes sense
I mean... pretty much every sims 4 pack is bland so I'm not very suprised 😂
But I definetly get what you mean
@@bigchungusiv4249 Plumbella made this one so idk if we can blame ts4 this time lol
I think it's kind of unique, i'm been fan of jesse myself for quite sometimes awhile now and her suggestions that she said in the video of hers are nicely done.
Everyone keeps saying “new” “gen z” but all I see is the golden girls. 🤷🏻♀️
I think the models lack texture. They seem made of rubber or plastic. I know ts4 isnt realistic but the texture look like a plain color with some shadows. Some objetcs also need more polygons to look less geometric and more fluffy.
Is it me or did he forget to go make a video on the shell challenge? I was looking forward to it :(
its coming!
@@SatchOnSims Thanks! Hope you won't do it against your will or feel pushed, I was just wondering if it was coming, I'll be patient then :)
wtf that's the whole kit ? There's not even enough furniture in there to make a whole bedroom ! 😂
all I see is builder stuff I barely see any cool game play with this game. stuff packs are nice but at the same time I rather have the game play. these items don't do anything so what is the point then just sitting there looking nice?
I am a female and I don't like the items either. I so wanted to cause love Plumbella, but alas no....
even if its girly, im a dude who loves feminine and masculine things so like I actually like this kit, though sadly dont have it myself
Very much reminds me of early sims games with how...out there it was.
I like it because Its nostalgic buuut I wouldn’t buy it
I either love or hate the items, there is no inbetween. 😭😂
1:44 lmao forget the carpet, that rug looks like a cracker lmaooo
Oh kits... I'll never understand.
Reminds me of a 90's style, which seems to be being brought back. I'm not a fan. I love pastel, but not for furniture.
Excuse me? I love my windows surface tablets. 😌
