This genre of music is probably the most important discovery I've made in the last 5 years.

Sounds like my childhood is escaping through my fingers as I grow older, but the nostalgia remain the same.
As soon as I opened this year's mix "L’indecis - Soulful" hit me, man!!
2018..... a year full of happiness, blessings, and new beginnings. It is now December 2020 and we have experienced COVID, political hatred, and hardship all year..... yes I wish I could go back to 2018.... but if I did that, maybe I would miss out on the opportunities that lie ahead. May life bring you happiness today.... not just in retrospect of a year, but right this very moment.... God bless!
I noticed there are a lot of college students that listen to these instrumental compilations while studying, or trying to relax during a mental break down... peace to all these peeps and fellow fans alike! I'm not a student, but I can sympathize.. the world can get hectic, but these beats put you in the right place of mind. I personally love putting Chillhop Music on when I'm doing the dishes, laundry, cleaning around the house, and reading/relaxing after work. Total rainy afternoon/sunny summer day vibes~* p.s. those raccoons are too cute! ^^ Seeing them and smelling fresh linen makes me sleepy... lol

YES, these are nostalgic tracks. I really think lofi hip hop had a richer and more soulful quality a few years ago than it does now. Seems a little gentrified.

This oddfish track has to be one of the most incredible beats I've ever heard.
What kinda magical winter wonderland is this? A mischievous squirrel up to no good with that acorn. A couple of adorable Racoons enjoying a campfire with hot coco and fireworks even at 5:00 minutes into the music there are fireworks going off in the background...This is enjoyable :)
I'm out here trying to survive online learning in college and pulling all-nighters to get assignments in before the due date and this is really helpful right now.

I'm a death metal dude, but I get way too hype when I study along to heavier stuff and can't pay attention at all. These past few months I've gotten really into dark ambient music and lofi hiphop. I'm very glad I did. This mix is great, and I appreciate the "more realistic" sounding instruments on a lot of these tracks

When you get overwhelmed with everything that's going on, only focus on what you can do about it right now. Quit trying to plan so far ahead that you lose track of where you're going. You only need to focus on the now. The future can wait. Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, or even sometimes just one minute at a time. If you still feel like quitting, just remember why you started this whole thing in the first place. Worrying doesn't take away tomorrow's troubles, it only takes away today's peace. You got this. Keep going, because 5-10 years from now, you are going to look back and be so proud of yourself that you didn't quit. And that my friend is one of the best feelings in the world.
