Is this true for other devices that uses its own type of batteries too? Like a 3DS or wireless console controller.
Hi Eirik, most of the products are battery specific so they will work only with a specific battery type.
I ment, do these kind of electronics have batteries that will leak if I don't use them for a while? (Sorry if I misunderstood your answer)
It is very hard to know that, usually higher quality batteries will not do that. Also, the storage conditions are very important, in more humid areas there is a bigger probability of it happening.
Digital Goja I see. Thanks for answering!
Hello, I am in need of your help. I have godox TT685 Flash in which one of my new rechargeable AA batteries has got stuck. How should I remove it?
Hello, Ravdeep Singh Chawla. Sorry to hear about that. You could try using a strong piece of tape to pull the battery out. I would use caution because the battery could have leaked inside the unit.
Rechargeable batteries after awhile, will expand and get stuck in their slots. I'm wondering; Why don't they offer externally-connected, rechargeable battery packs?
Good question Gordon, low quality batteries sometimes expand and make a big problem.
I abandoned my 550EX speedlite flash for longer time and one battery cannot be taken out of the battery compartment. It could be fixed?
Hi there! Try to remove the battery gently with a pair of tweezers, if that doesn't work you might need to take it to a camera repair store for a professional cleaning. They will also verify if the corrosion didn't damage any circuit in the flash.
