You have a good design for developing countries. In the west you would have problems with safety of heating galvanized plate.
Build yourself a spot welder 😉

The white stuff around it pours down to fuel the flame in the center. The ash ends up at the bottom.
The design is flawed since he have to bang on the stove to make the fuel fall down. And when fired up it's hard to stop the flame. No way to remove the fuel. But at least it works.

Very nice stove design. Love it, especially the fuel feed. But why call it a rocket stove? Is it really that, according to the original rocket-stove principles drawn up with a lot of field research and testing by Larry Winiarski - for the L-rocket form - and Ianto Evans - for the J-rocket form? Your stove is still a good, interesting design, though, and works well. Always be cautious using galvanised steel, though. Take care to burn off the zinc coating really well before getting too near it: noxious fumes are given off until it's well burned clean. Better to use uncoated mild steel, or better still stainless, That's what I always use. Really nice idea all the same!

Stitch welding or not makes no difference, burning galv releases poison gas. He may be getting small amounts on any one job but it still does damage and the effect is cumulative.
