For those wondering, Brown Eyed girls are still around!! they had a comeback last year with Wonder Woman (which was a cover but i still highly recommend) and they released a special single at christmas too
this song is arguably one of the greatest pop songs ever. The first time I heard this, it was confusing; I'm thinking "What is this baseline?" and then the monotone rap lyrics start and I'm still scratching my head wondering if I'm wasting my time. Another minute in and I'm hooked, the chorus contextualizes everything beforehand and now whenever I hear this song begin I think "Hell yeah! B.E.G.!" If you liked this and haven't heard them before now check out Sixth Sense and Brave New World, and even the members' solo projects are worth your time (I'm partial to Gain's 'Bloom' and 'Paradise Lost' but JeA's recent singles are great and Miryo is a very talented rapper if you're into that sort of thing).
Sera is right, women can look cool was sort of the message and Brown Eyed Girls has been pushing boundaries for women in kpop history, that's why they are so popular and living legends. Check their songs Sixth Sense, Candyman, Kill Bill, Wonder Woman. And wonderful solos Dear Rude (by Jea, leader) and Bloom (by Gain, maknae). I love this serie.
Sera, will never say it enough but I'm so so in love with your Remember? series. I'm reliving all my 10 years of KPOP, I'm going crazy I love it so so much! Thank you for making me happy and resurrecting very good memories. I love you
Dreamcatcher actually introduced me to this song with their relay dance cover of this. Great song, but if you haven't seen their cover I highly recommend it!!!
This is THE song that got me into K-Pop. It was the first K-Pop song I ever heard after UA-cam auto-played it while I was skimming through some J-Pop and coming up with nothing of interest. I had it on loop for hours that day while I worked. Eventually I'd stumble into 2NE1 and SNSD in the later weeks, but I owe my last decade+ musical journey that eventually led to crazy things like being hugged by Tiffany Young or meeting Itzy (both right before we all got locked inside no less) all to this one music video.
I commented on the other remember? video that I suggested Sixth Sense but I am still happy with any Brown Eyed Girls video. Sera grooving to the "arrogant dance" is a mood.
YAAAAAAAAAAAS I was waiting for this one. My god. Even 10+ years after, I still listening to this song. Also fun fact => It was Miryo who had the idea for the outfits!!!
The song that introduced kpop to me a decade ago while I was watching Starcraft Korean esport tournaments. Gain, my first bias before I even knew this term was a thing. I didn't dive into kpop at all back then, not until Blackpink blew up and broke youtube 24 hours views record with Kill This Love MV in April 2019. This made me go down the rabbit hole and I discovered many new groups and awesome music in the process. Like Mamamoo, my ult group by far. And just a few days ago JeA of Brown Eyed Girls released a collab song with Moonbyul of Mamamoo. It feels like different timelines merging together. What a strange and fascinating connected world we live in.
Brown Eyed Girls is one of my favourite GG from 2nd gen 😍😍😍 Their live performances are more awesome than MVs I think it's a fact that 2nd gen K-pop groups have history of being badass on Live Stages
Sera!! I'm like feeling like there are butterflies in my belly gurl!! This is one of my all time faves of kpop. The memories just burst out and all I can feel is good this was when kpop was kpop my god... Right now I can't even unsee the 2pm parody dammit you just brought me back... To when I was sooooo in love with kpop
@@ELmayberry hey no one and I mean no one can forget that, I miss those days when idols made fun of themselves and ruined their images ridiculously in a good way.
BROWN EYED GIRLS 💛💛 MY FAVS 💛 I'm so happy you reacted to them! It's also cool because Sungah was a backup dancer for them during the Sixth Sense era👌 also Nine Muses did a cover of Sixth Sense but that was sadly after you graduated from the group, it would've been cool to see you do a concept/performance like that, you would've killed it with your vocals 👌
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! SERA YOU DID IT!!!! OMG!!!!! THANK YOU...... And Sera HAVING you vining to the song is everything... You should do a cover!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 And yes you're right this song is historical... Their music is just so amazing and empowering... And their KILL BILL song is also amazingly funny and Miryo's Rap is seriously one of the best I've ever hear she went off on that song as if there's no tomorrow..
Thank you for this! I’m in love with this throwback series to just a great era & to think you’re such an important part of it! Love BEG, all 4 ladies are so fierce, talented, sexy & beautiful... And Narsha will always have a special place in my heart for the way she took care of that sweet old granny on IY, season 1! She was the first idol (for me anyway) that displayed such duality....
My favorite BEG song along with Brave New World 😩❤❤ I still listen to it till this day, that song still slaps! I also love this series, brings awesome memories when I was starting to be a kpoper 😭❤
Back then, Brown Eyed Girls and Sunny Hill were the ones with MVs and lyrics that makes you ponder on what social messages they were trying to convey. Brown Eyed Girls (and Gain) with Sixth Sense, Cleansing Cream,... and Sunny Hill with Midnight Circus, The Grasshopper Song, Pray, Is the White Horse coming?,...
I missed you lately! Did you watch Dreamcatcher's relay dance version of Abracadabra? So cool! It made me check out B.E.G. too, I often play the This is Brown Eyed Girls playlist on spotify, very nice! They also have cool MV's.
This song is timeless for me and one of the songs that got me into Kpop in the firstplace...I could still listen to this in 2020 and I dun think I’ll ever be bored of it
Sera does not like the song ....... she loves this song this is the song that got me into BEG a little surprised she went with the performance video instead of the production video that is a masterpiece
OMG. 🙆🏽♂️ Brown Eyed Girls 😍... I still love them.🥰 BTW, what's next 🤔 F(x) maybe or SNSD, or Kara or Shinee or MBLAQ or Ladies Code or.... 🤷🏽♂️ there's sooo many to choose from 🤩 Edit: bad Autocorrect
Hello Sera I'm loving this Series and Love You as well. I just wanted to let you know if you didn't know already that Dreamcatcher 드림캐쳐 Siyeon 시연 just released a Live Version MV and Interview Video for the OST for the KBS Drama Into The Ring with a Song Titled: Good Sera. Hope you'll be a reaction to it! ❤
This song still to this day hasent been topped in the sexy concept, it's Among those legendary songs from 2009, it has one of the most recognisable choreographys, even now watching this I remember when this song dropped and it litterally set the girls on fire, they had such a popularity boost from this song. It's always so crazy how this song here set a new standard for girl groups to achieve and what would be considered normal, now day when girl groups do sexy they have these legends to thank, without this song making and breaking down walls for woman at that time in the K-pop industry we wouldn't have alot of girl groups we do now. Plus the song is actually an amazing song that gets your energy up in a good way
Brown eyed girls and 9muses were what really got me into kpop! The visuals and songs were 🔥🔥🔥
Me too! I suggested this to Sera a few days ago!
@@sunsin1592 Thanks for suggesting it ^_^
Ga'in is the greatest Maknae in the history of kpop, 14years and still going
Wait what? How can Miryo be a Maknae :)))?

I wish they promoted the song on music shows 😭😔
still going indeed
if they didn't release wonder woman on the same day as taeyeon's comeback (spark i think) then it would've been more successful

And Irreversible! I played that song so many times, I freaking love Gain.
Seriously even if the Song was going to be released these days it would FREACKING blow up everywhere.. that's how good it freaking is!!!
Sixth Sense, Hot Shot, Cleansing Cream, Kill Bill, Bloom... masterpieces!
at first. i think this song is bad and i dont like it at all so i think why people so hype with this sonh

Yes! Really love this series... this series literally relive my childhood memories 😍
This is truly the greatest series ever. Especially cause I was late getting into kpop and missed so much.
Not sure how you're late getting into kpop. It's not like it's going anywhere.
