    Tips for Zwift:
    - You do the yo-yo effect just like me (going back and front continously)... try to stay in the middle of the peloton and safe as much watts as possible (it's usually 0,5W/kg less than the front guy), then safe powers 'til the last sprint (if you can!).
    - You are also giving too much power in the downhills it's difficult to get dropped there
    - On 30:50 you should have used the powerup just before the arch, you used it afterwards and lost the chance to get a new one
    - For the sprint wait on fourth or so position til the last 200m and then it's a give it all thing. Arriving to the sprint without any powerup just gives you 0 chances to win or to be in the top

Just an advice from EBH. You should try to increase your cadence in the sprint (at least above 110). Heavy gears wont make you quicker, but high cadence will.

You can definetly win these, after you get more used on how the powerups work and get the perfect timing on using them 👏🏻

Johannes Klaebo got into cycling in his last vlog, it would be awesome to get all the Norwegian pro athletes on yt in one video for a cycling showdown!

Hi Kristian, nice race! One question, I noticed you stand a lot during VO2 max efforts (like 30:32), do you also dance on the pedal during VO2 zone trainings? I found I feel more comfortable standing when during VO2Max trainings, but am speculating that if I always stand for VO2 zone I might miss the chance to develop certain muscle groups -- not sure if I am just being paranoid :)

Good efford Kristian, you just lacked the snappy legs at the end. It really needs you to push few seconds +1000 watts minimum to win these there at the end. Even with aerohelmet.

@@kristian.blummenfelt yeah, you'll learn. Do the reconnride before next race at the same route to know exactly where the poweruppsnare and where are the points you could try breakaway or maybe longer sprint? With guys like Lionel and Gustav you guys could do some sort of small group attack to shatter or complitely push off clear from the punch. 👍 Exciting to see the next week race pannut and hope it's a good route with some elevation too. 🤔

Too bad you didn't keep your power-ups for the sprint. You could have used it to draft them. Strong performance tho! 💪💪

Think he reckon its good to touch into that racing zone again mentally. and I agree. Im in the sport in the first place because I love to train and race. so important to keep that joy. But in a normal season we wouldn't have used this for training. then its better to have more systematic training. like most of the ride yesterday was too soft paddling compare to what I would have liket to do in training.

Maybe a tip: on the downhills don’t push it, it doesn’t really have a big affect in Zwift just sit in de bunch and recover. At least that is what I see with the more experienced zwifters like Ed Laverack.😅👍🏼 Great effort anywayk
